I strongly recommend Hurstbourne Forge.

I needed a wrought iron safety grid to cover a deep well, with a mesh backing to prevent small objects falling in. Hurstbourne Forge took my design, built it and had it powder coated for me. I am delighted with the result. It is very robust, was easy to install and is built to a very high standard. Looks really good too. Considering this is a bespoke, handmade product, it was excellent value.

Despite the fact it was over Christmas and New Year, Jamie kept me informed on progress throughout.

We wanted a custom made trivet to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary. As we love Africa we asked Hurstbourne Forge if they could create us a safari scene. We were really impressed with Jacks original design suggestion, but did request a few changes which were incorporated quickly and we were delighted to receive the trivet this weekend. From initial order to delivery was only a couple of weeks and we were kept informed every step of the way. We would highly recommend Hurstbourne Forge, great company, service and product. Spent a really fascinating morning at Hurstbourne Forge on one of their excellent welding courses. My daughter wanted to make a steel handbag, a pretty ambitious task considering we were beginners. We were very lucky to see our design cut out with a powerful laser and folded as shown in the video.

We came away with a completed bag with a lot of help from Dave, our instructor, who actually welded one up for us while we were practising on much thicker materials. I think it would take many months to match his skill.

All of this was above and beyond the standard welding course and it made the day all the more enjoyable as a really nice family/group activity.

I would thoroughly recommend a welding course at Hurstbourne Forge as a group (eg "men in sheds" ) day out.

Great, unique products made to a high standard with fast delivery.

We ordered a paw shaped dog lead hook. We could choose the exact colour we wanted and it even came with the fittings painted in the same colour as the hook.

Nice attention to detail and when you consider they are all hand made it only took a week to come.

Would definitely use them again.

While renewing the front door of our home we opted to have a door with no letterbox. The option for receiving mail deliveries was to install a mail box on the external wall or a “through the wall mail box”.
We selected the through the wall option as the mail would drop nicely into a basket inside the house, no fiddling with a key to open an external box to retrieve mail. We also wished a name plate for the house with the letterbox alongside our address included.
As a returning customers, we were confident that Hurstbourne Forge would produce the bespoke item required to a very high standard. We were not disappointed with the Letterbox Name Plate manufactured by Jack at Hurstbourne Forge.
The letterbox is tailored in to the name plate bearing our house number and street name is above. Mounted on a wooden backing painted white with black screw caps the name plate with the letterbox looks stunning. The cut out address line is enhanced with the white painted background.
The overall appearance is very welcoming and practical too.
We are more than happy to recommend Jack and his team at Hurstbourne Forge.

Absolutely fantastic bespoke trivet that looks stunning in the kitchen!
I was impressed with the design emailed to me but was blown away when it arrived; it's so much better!! Everything from placing the order to receiving the trivet was faultless and delivery was within a week of ordering!

Well I came up with an idea and Jack accepted the challenge. I have a lovely black glass gas hob but being black, it shows up every spec of dust and its family members! A cover was clearly required, so I contacted Jack without any substantial ideas whatsoever apart from a subtle hint written on it. 24hrs later I received the print by email, and 7 days later, the cover was delivered. I am so pleased with it and it has been the subject of many laughs! Thank you so much Jack but as challenges go, it wasn't very taxing for you; I WILL do better..........
