Disappointing experience with Ian Firth Hardware. Needed an urgent replacement for a faulty external door lock supplied by them to a Barrett's development. Unfortunately, the customer service was unhelpful, and the urgency of the situation wasn't addressed. I cannot recommend their service based on this experience.

While the quality of their products ay be high, I have been waiting two weeks for a key replacement. As a pretty fundamental item, being without one for so long is horrendous (especially in these times where if you are waiting for a partner to come home you have very few options besides waiting on the street).

Any key cutter can cut a key in a matter of minutes. Combined with the price charged to replace a key (£30) you'd hope they'd do so swiftly and send with next day delivery. Unfortunately that has not been the case. I'm two weeks into waiting with no update yet on when this will be sorted.

Slow, expensive. Not worth the cost or hassle.
