I used my Lifesaver Jerry can once and followed their instructions. The filter did not work a second time let alone 5300 gallons claimed. I contacted customer service in the UK and they will not return it or provide a new filter. They suggested it got clogged from bacteria during storage (using tap water). You cannot store it without water in the container or it will dry out.
