Got introduced to India in a Jar by my daughter in law.
Visited the website, purchased 5 jars of various chutneys, they are all very tasty.
Checked out the videos on the website and decided to make the Bhuna by following the online recipe and instruction video. It was delicious.

We have been buying from their pop up stalls for a few year and their products taste amazing. We especially love the Tamarind and Ginger combo. I also used the website and their postal service is second to none. When I made an error on the address to send my order to I rang Chef Col on a Sunday. He not only sorted it out immediately but texted me later in the week to make sure the recipient got the parcel ok. Definitely 5 stars for them.

India in a Jar, Tumeric Root with pepper and coconut oil: Simply. The. Best. I was on a walking holiday in Dartmoor and I came across this product being sold in a local market. At first I hesitated (glass jar in a suitcase) but changed my mind about an hour later and went back to buy a jar. OH BOY so glad I did. My only super sadness was that I only bought ONE JAR. I love this stuff, especially on eggs and sandwiches. It has a wonderful umami taste with a mild bite. It adds great flavor. It took me a couple of weeks of sleuthing to contact the company to arrange shipment across the pond of 12 jars. I have already given two jars to each adult child. LOVE. THIS. STUFF. Buy some today. Don't live to regret only buying one jar!

Rip off and tasteless. Was told the jar would serve 6 people. Used more than half a jar for a recipe for 2 people and it was still bland and tasteless that I just used my usual curry powders in the end. £9 for a jar that did nothing. Sent an email and didn't hear back. Wouldn't reccomend, dont waste your money

Excellent Meal and Service
We went to this restaurant during our holiday and we were really impressed. As soon as we walk through the door we met with a warm and welcoming greeting accompanied by broad smiles from the staff. The food is freshly cooked and is always very tasty. A good selection of house specials give you a lot of choice for your main course. The atmosphere of a modern Indian style which is fresh and clean lined. I highly recommend this restaurant and advise that you should try it out. It's excellent.

I absolutely love these jars! I often have a small amount from a selection of jars on a plate, with cheese and crackers for dinner. I love loads of them and my favourites are, the turmeric one, coconut chutney and I have recently discovered the lime pickle..... it is amazing! I didn't realise lime pickle could taste so good.
I used to buy from the stall but i can't at the moment. I'm so happy you have a website I can order from. Thank you

Best Indian curry
Amazing authentic Indian food cooked by a really passionate Indian chef. we purchased a few jars of Lavani brand Indian Beef, Pork and Fish pickles and will buy them online again. Recommended to all who love proper Indian Curries.

This must be the third time we are eating at this new restaurant Lavani and every single time it has been an experience. We have tried both small lunch menu and the extensive dinner menu.I tasted Ostrich for the first time and it is to die for. The Squid curry from Kerala was full of flavours. Everyone of our family enjoyed ever dish that came out and ech had it own distinctive flavours. I prefer the subtle and delicate flavours rather than the dishes that has full of butter and oil and chillies. The menu here is very unique and it is changing every week with new dishes. A place I would recommend without a doubt. Remember to book though. I tried the website twice but has gone down and was told that they were waiting for the domain name with (.co.uk.) Hope fully they will sought it out soon.
