I’ve had the most beautiful staircase handrail made and fitted by Ironart. Andy fully understood what I was looking to achieve and the end result completely matches the photos/inspiration I showed him. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, I’m fact I’m thinking up things I could have made for my kitchen too 🙂

It was a moment of total despair when our Coalbrookedale bench fell off the trailer and smashed into many pieces. Ironart came to the rescue and, through much hard work on their part, have rebuilt it so that it is in much better condition than it was before before the accident. We are therefore very pleased with this outstanding repair and restoration.

The Ironart workshops are tucked away on a side-street in Larkhall on the edge of Bath. Step through the deceptively narrow entrance to the site and you will be amazed - opening up into a large and efficient workshop which is a hive of creative industry. Ironart employ skilled craftsmen and artisans who create architectural ironwork and masterpieces in metal. Take a look at their website to see the full scope of their work. They are also wizards at restoration of historic wrought and cast iron; sell a collection of garden furniture and structures and offer one-day blacksmithing courses at weekends. There's no showroom, but plenty of interesting stuff in the yard and the friendly team (fronted by Andy the owner) will make you a cuppa and show you around if they have time. Highly recommend.
