We're very happy customers of John Ross & Son in the market. The lads behind the counter are always super friendly and all the items we've tried so far have been excellent. Smoked back bacon ✔️, sausages ✔️, award winning pies ✔️ (from Stamford, try the beef & Stilton!), pork pie ✔️, ribeeye steak ✔️, pork shoulder ✔️, various flavoured meats ✔️ when it's bbq season to name a few!

Last night we tried the fillet: outstanding! ✔️✔️✔️

As for the one negative Google review on here, it's a shame, as it sounds like a previously regular happy customer had one instance of tough sirloin and decided to share their opinion in public online rather than go back to the shop, such a shame. I'm sure if they'd given feedback to the shop they would have resolved the situation admirably.

went in today 19th July got 5 sirloin steaks for £20 hoping for a nice tea steaks full of gristle chewy really vile went in bin never had sirloin like that ever really awful shame as butchers usually very good
