Absolutely brilliant place. Met a man called Sam at reception who dealt with our dilemma over a buckled wheel. Whilst it was being sorted, we were allowed to look at their fantastic fat-tyred tricycles - which they had ex demo trikes for sale. All in all a brilliant experience. If anybody was wanting a trike, I would highly recommend Jorvik Tricycles 100%. The photo enclosed is one of their trikes for sale - and my favourite.

For a year and a half I looked at the website every day. I already used a tricycle, and I was fascinated by what Jorvik promised. Today I can say that I am very happy with my purchase. It was super easy to assemble by myself, even without knowing much English. The tutorial videos here on the page are essential. I found it super fast, and I did several tests. Today I feel that there is a lot of practicality in the electric model. I can climb the steep curves of the University effortlessly. The material is resistant. All very well done. The battery lasts an average of 3 days. It is worth buying cargo bags to better accommodate shopping or backpacks. The only points that I see as disadvantages are: if the battery is low, it is very difficult to pedal without any assistance. So the use as a type of bicycle is not the proposal of this model. The lights only come on when turned on. So I need to use extra flashlights.

I was having balance problems on my old e bike. I went for a demo paid and took the trike away with me. Absolutely brilliant takes a bit of getting used to not like riding a 2 wheel bike but once you get used to it fantastic. Am lucky that we have loads of cycle tracks in my area and go out every other day for a long ride

I have just bought a JMT6 tricycle from Jorvik. I wasn't able to visit their showrooms so spoke to the lovely Tash over the phone.
Tash was extremely helpful and has "held my hand" through the whole experience. I have to confess that the first time I got on my new tricycle I was very glad of Jorvik's 14 day return policy. I was terrified! But Tash calmly guided me through it all with lots of back up information, patience, kindness and professionalism. And everything she said was true!
I am still in my 14 day period but my tricycle won't be coming back! I think that there's a fair chance that I may grow to really like it - or more!
In a nutshell, great, well-built product; fair returns' policy; excellent backup from the team (Tash!).

After a brief mix up on the order the trike arrived and it took us two days to work out the assembly. We used the video frame by frame to work out how to put the front wheel on.
The booklet relating to the screen could be better. I have used trial and error along side the booklet to work out most things but I am still not sure how the accelerator lever fits in as I only go around town and don't go very fast. We could do with a plain English translation with more detail.
The trike is well built and I am pleased with it but it is taking time to adjust from 2 wheels to 3.

I have bought an old trike privately, when I contacted Jorvik, did they send me away with a flea in my ear - they did not, within 20 minutes I got help, answers, extras and a 😀. Best customer service I’ve had for simply ages!

I am very happy with my jmt6.
Thus five stars.
Deservedly.

Delivered after two weeks.
Out of UK communication leaving much to be desired.
Overall excellent packing, with minor and very unnecessary snags.
Not all bits and pieces in the toolbox carton, but some screws very much on the loose in the big box and only noticed by chance.
The tools coming with it are very good.
The assembly manual, though very well done, could do with updating.
The trailer box in particular had suffered from damp and very tight straps damaging the box. A fair number of staples were rather not doing their duty.
No bolt for mounting the trailer coupling provided. (EDIT: Bolt quite mysteriously sufaced 14 months later.)
No statutory warning labels with regard to batteries on the packaging. That is a no go!
The manifold plug was not connected to the control box near the pedals. A no go you should have noticed.
The trailer, else excellent, needed some minor, but annoying, remedial work to faults that must have occured before spray painting or at factory assembly.
Fortunately I am quite good with DIY.....
EDIT: Early in 2014 and 1900km I still am very happy. Added some reflectors, mud flaps, changed front light, added a bright red hook-on bag.

My Jorvik experience started in October 2020 when I visited York to test ride a JMT-7, I had already done my research & decided on that model, because of the mid-drive motor. The test ride was fantastic & expertly handled, I decided there & then that’s the tricycle for me. I was advised of all of the finance options & lead times.

Fast forward to February 1st 2021, & I was ready to place my order, it had taken me a few months to get the purchase price together. I placed my order with a 10% deposit & was given a mid-March delivery date, I was advised that this was subject to potential delays due to Brexit/Covid/Import delays. This was absolutely fine by me & completely understandable.

Over the following few weeks I was kept informed via email as to how my order was progressing & I had my questions quickly answered & accessory orders added to my main order.

I received my JMT-7 on February 27th, it was delivered, fully assembled by Gavin in the Jorvik van (I live close to York). Gavin went through all the features & controls, then answered any questions I had. There were a couple of things that had to be adjusted/exchanged in the first couple of weeks, Jade handled this via email, very professionally & friendly, the charger was faulty & replaced via next day delivery.

I’ve now been riding my tricycle for three months, without any problems whatsoever, the build & component quality is spot on for the price bracket. I’ve gained more confidence with any range anxiety as the JMT-7 has performed outstandingly. My longest ride, 28 miles, on pedal assist 5, many hills, & I arrived home with 26% battery remaining.

Many thanks to, Emma, Claire, Jade & Gavin for their excellent customer service & help with any issues/queries I had.
