10/10 great classes, great teacher and take home what you make! What's not to love.
Me and my mates went to the forge to make 2 headed axes. I had attended the axe making class last year but it was my mates first time doing anything like this. Paul was very patient and taught us every step while explaining why. Highly recommend for all levels of experience.

Educational, inspiring and loads of fun.
Fantastic experience all round I highly recommend Kingdom Forge!
I was gifted a voucher for the introduction to blacksmithing course for xmas and called up to book as i wanted to change it for the axe making class and Paul let me pay the difference. Paul was Incredibly helpful and professional throughout the call and helped me understand what is included in the course and how the day would run.
On the day Paul had multiple cancellations but continued with the day with only 2 students and I am so glad he did as I ended up with an awesome axe I made myself!
I am actually posting this review a year late as I went back to the forge for another class and realised I didn't write my first review, sorry!

Had an awesome experience doing the 2 day knife making workshop with 4 friends. Leszek is a great tutor. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Les is direct with his instruction but very patient and a good laugh!
Full protective equipment is provided as well as a safety briefing.
Site has a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and a bench. Toilets are clean.
Highly recommended.

A month or so ago, two friends and I were lucky enough to pop down the forge and bash some steel. All of us had 0 in smithing. However, after making a decent coat hook and two really shocking leafs, we moved on to the main event, the creation of my very own blacksmith knife! My knife is awesome, I use it every day to strip armoured cable. We all had the best day and will be coming back to the forge to make as some axes.

Thanks to the boss at the forge, he is a proper decent bloke who took the time too teach us in a safe and relaxed environment, absolute legend! Bonus points for the solero. The manliest way to eat an ice cream is to do it whilst making a knife.

Came here with a couple of mates, one of the bests days out I’ve had in a long time, the Guy who run it ( Paul ), gave clear and easy to follow instructions and at the end of the day everyone one had a few cool hand made thing to show for it, I love my knife I made.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day!
Did the introduction to blacksmithing course where we each had our own anvil and made a coat hook, keyring, viking knife and fire poker to take home.
Great as a present and enjoyable on your own or in a pair.
Overall a very rewarding experience and well worth it.

Absolutely BRILLIANT day forging an axe. Paul was exceptionally professional but also hilarious and we learned so much but also had loads of fun. I would thoroughly recommend any activity here as a gift or special day out.
Also they have a bar opening soon, with cider brewed on site ! Does it get any better?

I attended the axe forging instructional at Kingdom Forge. What a great group of people. Very educational experience and I left with one of the best souvenirs I've ever gotten.

Side note for the Kingdom Forge team: I put a braided grip on my axe for extra survivalist capabilities. Thanks for the experience guys.
