What can I say, the service, final design and actual product were all superb. I had very specific requirements for a new AV/HiFi unit and took quite a few iteration to finally decide what I wanted (my problem not Konk’s). Each step of the design process required an update to the scale 2D CAD drawing, with a number of specific Q&As along the way. (I’m a Civil Engineer so used to looking at scale drawings).
Communication was quick and all done via email until we were both happy with the final design. The piece of furniture was delivered free yesterday and the build quality and look is superb. It has a slide out shelf and retractable door all produced to exact dimensions and specification. It is better than I imagined and cannot recommend Konk highly enough. If you are looking for a bespoke, really beautifully finished piece of furniture that is also functional to accommodate your hifi system needs, then these are the guys! I spent many hours scouring the internet to find the perfect unit without success and stumbled on the Bristol manufacturer by chance. Fabulous job and I am delighted with their service. You get what you pay for! Thank you.

Overall dissapointed. Paid a lot for a lovely design of walnut Pakt dining table and chairs, and arrived fairly quickly, but some finishing issues with sanding and non flush joints. Got a lot of apologies and was picked up, i was told it would be perfect and handled by the workshop manager.

Another couple of weeks to find a Zoof (owned by konk) delivery slot. It’s come back now and the finishing has caused more damage, there’s visible joint gaps still, deep scratches and the table supports with curved tops all look like they’ve just been hacked and sanded at while they have re-sanded the table top which wasn’t flat initially,
making wonky curves, ruining the design in a really visible area and looks totally amateurish.

Overall what looks like a lovely design is let down by attention to detail and finishing, really poor.

Writing this because i debated about ordering such expensive furniture from a relatively small bespoke company myself but thought is good to support but the real experience I’ve personally found the quality is not up to it sadly.

Response so far has been ‘not sure what’s happened here’ and probably will have to pursue this another way, as shouldn’t expect finishing issues initially, let alone further damage done when they do take it back to fix.

In the end they took it back, instead of fixing the issues they just said ‘it’s handmade’ which apparently explains scratches and angles on curves, but clearly didn’t want to rectify and offered a refund which I accepted.

Delivery guy from zoof (konk trained apparently) was great throughout though, and agreed about the issues when he collected the stuff for a third time. Honestly just a bit relieved to never have to deal with these people again, a definite sense of arrogance without the skillset and attention to detail to back it up.

The entire team was brilliant. It was really easy to communicate with them via email and they were always very responsive. Their advice to create the perfect table based on my design idea was really helpful and they put great effort in ensuring that the delivery would go smoothly.

The delivery team was efficient and friendly.

The final product is of great quality and finish. I would definitely recommend Konk to friends and family.

I searched high and low for a stylish, high-quality dining table for our new house and luckily found Konk Furniture. It was a great experience from beginning to end. Emails and questions were always answered incredibly promptly and helpfully. The design process was easy and the options were made very clear. The table was delivered exactly as scheduled by very helpful and professional delivery people. And the table itself was even more beautiful and impressive in person. I can't fault any aspect of the product or service and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Ordered a refectory 2.0 in walnut. Beautiful table with excellent attachments. There was a slight blemish from warehouse storage. Konk, and their delivery and maintenance team Zoof, were incredibly responsive about having someone come out and re-sand and stain the table free of charge. I was particularly impressed by how helpful and profession Grant and his colleague were with the delivery and staining. Great work and we intend to purchase more items from Konk in the future.

We are truly delighted with our Konk dining table. We spent a lot of time making sure we personalised our quote to ensure we got the sort of live edge we were after. While it’s worth noting that Konk cannot guarantee the exact live edge look you’ll get before the wood is cut, they did a magnificent job on our request and perfectly delivered what we had envisioned. We now have a gorgeous live edge character oak table in dark oak finish and we could not love it more. It feels substantial and like it will last us a lifetime. For other buyers, just do your research, state clearly what you’re after when designing your quote AND be open to the fact that every piece of wood is different and this is not ikea furniture so every piece will be unique and that element of uncertainty is part of the process. Wood has knots and your piece likely will. If you don’t like knots perhaps character oak isn’t for you. In our case, I feel like the workshop really took into account what we were hoping for and delivered superbly. The construction is lovely and the finish is impeccable. I can only recommend!

We’ve had a great experience with Konk. I was dubious buying an expensive piece of furniture without viewing it first but they sent some photos they had of similar items from the warehouse and we made the plunge. The table came very quickly (we’ve had other pieces made and they’ve been much slower from other providers). The delivery was brilliant and customer service was great throughout. We are very happy with our gorgeous dining table.
