We went here for my birthday meal yesterday; it was our second visit and it was even better than the last! The food is gorgeous, I had the scallops, venison and the Bakewell tart and all three were 10/10! The service is also fab with the wait staff being very attentive.

We had the early dinner 2 courses and canapés for 30 pounds or whatever. Incredible price. Excellent food. We can’t wait to go back.
The rump steak was perfect.

Have wanted to come here for some time, having read all the 5* reviews. It exceeded my high expectations! Staff were lovely, and service was excellent. Food was superb. Considering the quality of what we had, I thought prices were very reasonable. We spent a lot of our visit planning a return visit.

Mostly good but with some significant mistakes. We were a table of six but two of our starters came out 10 minutes after the other four. Then I had duck as my main course but the fat had not been rendered properly and the skin was not crispy, the celeriac fondant was burnt on the bottom. The small cake that came as a complement at the end was also burnt. Our service was, I thought, slow…there were tables who came in after us who had finished and gone before our desserts came out.

This is a bit of a list which is a shame because I liked the restaurant and the rest of the food was very good.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, service is impeccable, staff are extremely polite, professional and friendly. Very accommodating. The food is simply exquisite, every dish is an experience to remember.

We visit often for the evening service which may average £40-50pp however, we have tried several times the lunchtime menu which averages £30-40, both including drinks and dessert.
