There are different species of lavender in the farm. Leaflet was provided so that we can have more clear to differentiate each species.
My kid loves the bee hunt game. She does not only focus on flowers, but also studies different insects in the farm.
The gift shop and cafe are nice. I like the lavender latte. The taste of lavender not too strong. It keeps good balance between latte and lavender.
For kids, the lavender ice cream must be a choice!

Lovely place to stop for a short walk and a cuppa.

Dog friendly (on leads) and as long as it's not too wet you can get round with a pram (it is a field at the end of the day).
Plenty of parking, selection of lavender items in the shop, cafe on site (indoor and outdoor seating) and friendly staff as well.

If you would like to walk around some fields of lavender and wild flowers, then have some tea and cake after (or before), then this is a fab stop for your travels.

Worth checking their social media channels before you travel for the latest info on the harvest and whether or not the lavender is in colour.

Great shop, great Lavender, great staff.
We came by bus from Jane Austen's house and it took around 10mins. You alight on a main road so take care. We started our trip with a scout of the gift shop, then had tea, Lavender Latte, lavender Lemonade, Victoria Sponge and a Flapjack and they were all good, then we paid for our field tickets. Just being able to wander round 2 fields was very relaxing listening to the bees buzzing, the weather was good so it was quite busy. We spent about an hour slowly wandering the flower, then went back to the shop, bought Jams, chutneys and more, finishing off with a honey & lavender Ice Cream.
A quick check of Google suggested there was a return bus in 20 minutes, so we headed back to the almost invisible bus stop, which ended up being a 40 minute wait for a 13 bus to Alton.

We’ve lived here for a long time and felt it was time to see the lavender fields up close. Viewing is best in July, they harvest in August. There’s a gift shop and a small tea shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Various varieties of lavender are planted and when the sun came out the colours were vibrant. It was alive with bees and butterflies. The area of wildflowers compliment the lavender perfectly. They have a bug hunt ongoing for the children. Whilst this is not a day out, it is a lovely few hours well spent. Sales of everything lavender related from plants to ice cream and honey finish the experience off perfectly.

Staff not very friendly at the till but nice visit if you are passing. Probably not worth travelling too far to go. Could do with more lavender options in the cafe.

Lovely place with amazing lavender. The gift shop is beautifully laid out too. We visited mainly for the coffee shop and unfortunately it’s not quite that. If you think of it as a gift shop that sells drinks it would be better.

They've really made an effort here, small gift shop and a few tables for tea and cake, you can sit and look out over lavender. Kids are £2 and got a bug hunt sheet and magnifying glass, adults £4. So much cheaper than Lordington Lavender! Would definitely go next year
