We have ordered our Christmas beef tenderloin from here. I also recently bought my husband a sirloin steak with cavolo nero kale out of the produce section. Oh and I also grabbed some chestnuts for Christmas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Next year I plan on getting a Christmas tree from here as the ones I saw were amazing but I had already bought mine for the year. Our new go to butchers. Thanks guys!

There was a line in the shop and because of this they couldn't take time to dice some lamb either that or they was just too lazy . They had lamb and it's a butchers so it should of been done.
Also they wasn't wearing hair nets and managed to dip hair in the minced beef 👎

Great butchers, friendly staff and good selection of meats and products. Strawberry’s and raspberry’s are superb when in season. Well worth a visit. The lamb here is outstanding!!

Such a shame. I have always considered Layer Marney Meats to be courteous and to value my custom, having shopped there since it opened, recommended it to friends and family and purchased its products for all special occassions . However, today I find myself without a pork shoulder joint for Mother's Day, having had the one I was considering purchasing sold to another customer whilst I was confirming if it would be large enough. In the meantime, a different cut was prepared and offered to me. This is not equitable customer care and I feel so disappointed in the service offered today that I fell obliged to comment.

I went in looking for some local meats, the young lady behind the counter provided excellent service. And the lamb shoulder is delicious!
