My parents and I were very impressed with the service received from Leodis Stairlifts - Barnsley.
The entire process from initial enquiry to the final installation was extremely efficient.

They quickly arranged for a home survey, which was conducted by Russ. Russ was really friendly and took time to talk through everything with us. It took about 15 minutes to do the measurements, he then discussed all the options, answered all our questions, and clearly presented us the price that we would pay, with no gimics or sales tactics. There was no pressure to buy at any point. We were left with the information and told to contact if we wanted to go ahead.

We decided to go for a reconditioned stairlift, which is really good quality and looks basically brand new.

The installation was arranged a few days after the survey, and the installation engineer worked quickly and cleanly. They were really friendly and happy to answer any questions we had during the installation process.

I would highly recommend Leodis Stairlifts to anyone considering a stairlift. Really efficient service, no pressure sales, and a good quality stairlift!

I am extremely impressed with Leodis from the first point of contact through to the final installation. I contacted them on a Thursday, they attended the property on Friday to carry out a survey and the installation was undertaken on the following Monday morning. Great product advice was given with no hard sell. The pricing was competitive and the Engineers that came to install the Stairlift were very friendly and professional and as a result, I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

When my parents asked for a stairlift, the choice on the internet was a tad overwhelming - I hadn't realised stairlifts were so popular. Anyway, after much deliberation I chose Leodis Stairlifts Barnsley as they were located quite close to my parents, the reviews on the whole seemed excellent, and the costs were very competitive.

I wasn't there when the quote was done but my parents (both in their 80's) were impressed. The chap took around 20 minutes to take all the measurements, and then spent time explaining all the options. As the website states, my parents did not feel this was a sales pitch. They decided to have a refurbished stairlift with a 12 month guarantee, for £1,850.

On the day of installation, there were no problems at all. Fitting took around 2 to 3 hrs. The fitter then spent time with my Dad explaining how the stairlift worked, what to do if there were problems, and only left when he was satisfied. The only very minor point is that the fitter rook a banister off the wall (which possibly was above what he was required to do?), but left nine holes in the wall. A spot of filler, and I would have given 6 starts!

As this is only the second day we have yet to use the after sales/breakdown service - but I am hoping that if we do, it will be as good as the quote and installation. Overall though, yes, I would highly recommend Leodis Stairlifts Barnsley.

Very professional.NO chasing or pushing after quotation. Stair lift was installed within 7 days. No issues, engineers were both quick and tidy .They explained fully operational procedure. Made things easy from start to finish.
Very competitive on price. Highly recommend them if you are thinking about a stair lift being fitted.
