As a wedding planner based in Hertfordshire, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Lesley Walter Cake Design for an epic 6-tier wedding cake for one of my American couples who flew in from Seattle to have their dream destination wedding here in the UK. The cake was a very significant part of their day, especially for the groom, a true cake lover who wanted nothing less than perfection.
Lesley went above and beyond to deliver exactly that. She blew the couple and their families away with her incredible service, personally meeting with them for not one but ‘ two’ complimentary cake tastings! Her accommodating nature and ability to reassure everyone with her expertise and creative flair were remarkable.
The cake itself was a masterpiece. Her handcrafted sugar flowers were so lifelike, even the florist was flabbergasted! The attention to detail and the flavours were absolutely divine, making it a highlight of the wedding day.

Well what can I say. Fabulous fabulous fabulous. Lesley made a super 90th birthday cake for my Mother. Lesley has crafted such an incredible selection of flavors that we ended up picking four of them for our wedding cake - and our guests absolutely LOVED every one of them! She also worked tirelessly to ensure the design was absolutely perfect and her final product was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined.

We travelled to the UK for our wedding from the US, and we visited a few times throughout our planning journey. Lesley met us at the venue multiple times to try cakes, and even brought boxes for us to take home to our families.

Leslie Walters created the most special, beautiful, ethereal wedding cake for our daughter and son in law. From the moment we met her at the cake tasting we knew this was very special. She created a lovely and elegant tasting experience and then really understood the couple’s vision and ideas for their cake. Her drawings were a dream come to life and then the actual wedding cake was beyond spectacular. Utterly stunning. It was soo delicious. Leslie also incorporated special details and secrets in her design and a custom flavour layer which combined the bride and groom’s countries and heritage. It was truly special.
