Lion lodge was wonderful from start to finish. The staff and service were wonderful, we couldn’t have wanted for more. The lodge was warm, luxurious and comfortable.|On most occasions a lion was visible for the duration of our stay, the especially love the outside bath and stayed the other side of the glass whilst we enjoyed a bath with an awesome view!

We had stayed previously at the Park and always wanted to return to the Lion enclosure for a special occasion - and so glad that we did!||||The lodge is amazing with a huge garden and seating area with fire pit that overlooks the fields. The lodge itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The most amazing part of the whole trip was sitting in the outside bath drinking champagne (complementary) with just a glass window separating us from the lions. Both lions came up to the glass looking at us and it was very special to see them so close. ||||Our living room overlooked the lion's sleeping quarters so we got to see them a lot - playing, snoozing and chilling. We had read reviews that seeing the lions is not guaranteed, so I don't know if we were just lucky, but they were both visible for most of our time there. In fact, other then lunch at the main restaurant (very nice!), we spent the majority of our time in our lodge, either outside in our private garden, in the bath, or chilling in the living room. ||||We were very lucky with the weather - it was a lovely sunny day, and that allowed us to really get the most from the lodge. It was a fantastic experience all round and the staff at Port Lympne are all excellent.

Myself and my partner were taken here for our 30th birthdays, and overall it was incredible. Although, I wouldn't personally pay to stay here as it's so expensive. You can easily view the lions from the lounge and main bedroom, the twin room upstairs also has a smaller viewing window. Beds are really comfy and the little complimentary snacks were lovely.

This was simply amazing🎉.||Wow, this was my birthday present from my husband. We spent 2 nights in Lion Lodge and YES the cabin faces into the lion enclosure with massive windows so you can catch all the action. It is a lovely lodge with a mini kitchen, fabulous views of the lions, lovely shower in the bathroom AND an outside bath with huge window into the lions….. an outdoor bath with champagne and lions, what more could you want? The Garden Restaurant and Bear Lodge Restaurant are excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The safari was amazing, I hand- fed the leopards, simply AMAZING. Will I go back, YES and perhaps stay in the tiger lodge……

We stayed here for one of the kids birthdays, absolutely amazing time, and was lucky enough to not only come face to face with the lions but to also experience them face to face when in the outside wood fire bath! great time riding the buggy around at nigh time and eating at the baby dolls restaurant. would 100% recommend!

Amazing experience and totally worth it. The lodge was large, clean and well equipped. The views and lion watching really was an experience. We did the tour and Howletts the next day, dinner at Babydolls was nice but we felt overpriced, but seeing as you are in the middle of nowhere make the most of it. Breakfast in the garden room was lovely and the service throughout from the concierge throughout the park was faultless. |The golf buggy was lots of fun and essential going through the park in the dark at night.|We had a lovely bottle of prosecco on arrival and took plenty of snacks.|The outdoor tub was heated at 6pm and was far too hot by 8pm, I would advise getting it heated around 4pm so that you can use the tub during daylight when you can see the lions because at night it's pitch black, but still lovely.|Lodge 2 was perfect for views, the only minor downside was the bed-very loud and creaky and sinks in the middle.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!

What an incredible experience, you actually get to sleep next to lions.

The room was exquisitely designed and well thought of. Very very hot when we got there(under floor heating), I adjusted the thermostat but still wasn't sure, I called guest services who were always very friendly, they sent a manintenance guy who was so helpful and showed me what I was doing was right.

Anywho, there were so many great little touches, the outdoor Scandinavian bath (call guest services 2 hours before use to allow to heat), fresh milk and water in the fridge as well as Raspberry water, great selection of teas and coffee, popcorn, biscuits, fudge, crisps and even marshmallows for the fire. We were really impressed.

Outside there was a viewing platform with a fire pit but unfortunately it was too cold for us! The grounds are incredible and well kept too.

A great night's sleep was had by all, with check out at 12pm you really had so much time to enjoy the facilities and the room.

4 out of 10 stay. Very BAD value for money. The hotel, if you can even call it that provides pretty much 0 service. From second you arrive you realise you have made a mistake booking. No one helps you with your luggage from your car which is parked down a hill. Your assigned a stinking petrol buggy that stinks, terrible for the animals and environment. Arrived at our accommodation lion lodge 2 staying 3 adults and toddler.
Accommodation comprising of a master bedroom on ground floor with a university style double bed with horrendous mattress where you fall into each other it’s such low quality just what you hoped for at £1300 per night. Second sleeping area is at mezzanine level where you can enjoying being BLINDED all night by the LED permanent lights right at your eye level. Terrible for kids and adults. This should be listed and guests should be informed when bookings . When I called to ask how I could switch them off they suggested eye mask, what a joke. Checked out following day not that any of the staff cared no one seems to care about anything it’s run by very chilled local animal lovers who clearly do not have any training in hospitality . Best part of the accommodation is the kitchenette however fridge is totally empty apart from some milk so again you better bring a suitcase of food and drinks.
Big mistake booking this place and feel it’s important to let people know not to waste their money.
