We have had two children attend Little Earthworms - my youngest is still there. It is a warm, inclusive, friendly and caring nursery. Both my children loved/love attending and have made great progress. The staff are very caring and friendly and really know the children well. They have a fantastic outside space and my son loves to spend a lot of the day outside. The staff create excellent activities for the children. My son has had a successful start to school and this is due to the preparation work done at Little Earthworms.

This has been a fantastic nursery for my Twins, they have loved being here, both in the under 2's and over 2's. As a first time mum of twins who had dietary needs to be accommodated and my anxiety as a new mum to settle the team at Little Earthworms have been fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble.
They have thrived since being in the toddler room and the mix of activities has been great for them. They love coming to see their friends and the staff.

Both my children go to Little Earthworms and I have been so impressed and pleased with the care and nurture they have received. The nursery has a big garden so the children get to play outside every day and they have chickens so the children get to feed them and also plant things to connect with nature. You can tell the staff care about nurturing your individual child and because it is fairly small it feels like a family. Highly recommend for prospective parents

Our two children have attended Little Earthworms full time from 6 months old up to starting school. We chose this nursery because we could tell the staff cared so much about the children. At a young age, seeing babies picked up and cuddled or rocked to sleep mattered more to us than the curriculum. We found that beyond their main caretaker, all members of staff deeply cared and got to know them.
As they grew older, we also really appreciated the broad curriculum, the open space and free flow structure which all helped them thrive. They truly considered Little Earthworms their second home.
The preparation in the last year before starting school was also taken seriously and the Reception teacher actually praised how our oldest had been obviously well-prepared by our nursery.
We also found that a lot of parents choosing this nursery had a lot in common with us and not only did our children made long-lasting friends but we also found our village through nursery.
For all these reasons, I recommend Little Earthworms to everyone I meet.

Little earthworms is a fantastic nursery.
My friend and I viewed about 6 nurseries in the area when choosing for our eldest children (5 years ago), and we both loved Little Earthworms because of how homely it felt and the caring way the staff interacted with the children.

The setting felt the right size for the kids not to feel overwhelmed, and I liked that in the spaces everyone is together and can be seen easily- no children getting lost in amongst it all!
Also, the baby room being on the ground floor so it’s a quick route to the garden to play outside felt so much nicer than being tucked away upstairs as we’d seen everywhere else.

My son had a fantastic time at the nursery from age 1 to school age, and still remembers the lovely teachers, and chats to them on the odd occasion he’s with me to drop off his sister.
My daughter has been at the nursery since 1 too and is now 3 and in the older room. She absolutely loves it.
The staff really made/ make it for both the kids. My son once cried all the way home from nursery because he wanted to stay longer, and he wanted another cuddle from Nancy who was his key worker!
Anything new my daughter gets or learns to do at home, she says she’ll tell Karen (who’s her key worker) next time she’s in, and she tells me that Karen will say “Wow!”
The team are so invested in all the children, and I really can’t recommend the nursery enough to anyone looking for a caring and vibrant setting for their child.

We have had three children at Little Earthworms Nursery - one of whom is still there. Not only is it an extremely caring, supportive and nurturing environment, the space the children have to explore and learn within ticked every box for us. All of our children have different personalities and needs, and without exception, they all thrived there. The focus on sustainability, environment and wholesome fun has taught them loads and prepared them effectively for primary school. The relationships my children have developed with all the staff are beautiful, and the care staff offer is best I’ve ever experienced. My older children still pine for nursery, despite being very happy at primary school. I have, and have never, had any concerns about my child’s learning, well-being, or care at the nursery. I cannot recommend little Earthworms highly enough.

This is an excellent nursery! The staff are very kind and nurturing, the kids are always welcomed with big smiles. I really like that this is a smaller size nursery and all the staff know all the children really well. There’s loads of outdoor time in the beautiful garden. It’s a homely environment with lots of fun activities going on everyday, and daily updates about these via the app. They have organised a weekend farm trip with all the families each year, and summer garden party at the nursery. It’s really great!

Both our children have loved it here. Caring staff and a lovely environment- including a great garden with lots going on. My daughter has not attended for a few weeks (lockdown) and can't wait to get back to nursery. She has a lovely key worker and has made a lot of friends here.
