Charlene is without a doubt one of the best choices of suppliers we made for our wedding day. We could even tell this from the prep beforehand!

We were directed to Love Gets Sweeter’s website thanks to a recommendation from our photographer and we could instantly see how lovely Charlene is, and how her style of ‘documentary’ filming is directly what we wanted.

If you want someone who manages to capture more special ‘little moments’ than you could imagine, and meticulously organise these together, then Love Gets Sweeter is the one for you. Charlene manages to capture anything and everything across your day and carefully ties it together in a unique highlights video where every clip is brimming with little looks, smiles and special moments. We loved the attention to detail and some well-crafted match up of clips to lyrics! When you watch the film it perfectly captures how the day was, and each time you rewatch the film you spot something more that Charlene has carefully put together too!

On the wedding day itself, Charlene went above and beyond… she helped with my dress, carried bags in the rain, sorted jackets and was just generally a complete delight to have around all day.

Considering neither of us particularly like being the centre of attention or being photographed / filmed, we didn’t feel this throughout our day and are so pleased with the footage we have seen so far from Charlene. She will completely put you at ease.

We are obsessed with our highlights video and cannot wait to see our feature film! Thank you so much Charlene for everything!

I can not rave about Charlene enough! After some of some of our suppliers gave us reccomendations for videographers, we chose her to film our wedding day back in July 2022 because we really liked her style and how friendly she was on our zoom call.

In the run up Charlene was really helpful and replied to many emails so quickly, considering she had a tiny baby this was so appreciated! On the morning of the wedding she arrived at the perfect time to see me and my bridesmaids getting ready and I know she captured so many things I didn't know about in the rush which was lovely. On the way to the venue Charlene was in my dad's car with me and my 5 month old, she kept me really calm and made me laugh which I definitely needed to keep the nerves at bay! When we arrived at the venue to get dressed it was all a bit of a whirlwind, but I have a vague memory of Charlene helping me and the girls with our hair and getting the baby dressed; I'm not sure how she did this and managed to film as well but I'm so grateful for her help! Throughout the day she was discreet when filming everything but also there when a helping hand was needed.

We got our highlights film back within a few weeks and love it so much; parts of the day that whizzed by, things we didn't see and things we had forgotten about were all documented as well as everything we remembered. It is beautifully made and lovely to watch, every time we see something new which is great! I really loved how the background song is one we told her would be used during the ceremony and this made it even more special for us. Getting the highlights film back made us want to upgrade to the feature length & outtakes films which was 100% the right decision; we absolutely love them and I know we'll watch them countless times.

If you are second guessing about booking a videographer, absolutely do it and book Charlene! She is so skilled, clearly loves what she does and is super helpful and so friendly. Thank you so much Charlene!

I had an incredible experience with my videographers, and I can't recommend them enough! They made my family and me feel so relaxed that we hardly noticed they were there. The outtakes are an absolute must-see, capturing those candid, genuine moments that you don't want to miss. While the highlights reel provides an amazing overview, the full package is essential to truly relive every precious detail.

Charlene went above and beyond, assisting with last-minute adjustments to our hair and dresses, ensuring everything was perfect. Paul spent time with my husband and little boy, making them feel completely at ease and showing exceptional care and patience with our son.

Charlene is incredible, we got married in July and I've put off writing this review for so long as I know I'll never be able to do justice with words to the service Charlene provided. Despite not being super comfortable in front of the camera, we knew from the start we wanted a wedding video having listened to so many of our loved ones who have married previously saying how fast the day goes and how much of it you actually miss because you can't be with everyone at once. Charlene was recommended to us and we instantly fell in love with her style and her easy going nature.

The final product was obviously so important to us, but one of the biggest benefits is that Charlene is just one of the most beautiful people to interact. It was important to us to have discreet filming on the day to ensure the video captured the true essence and emotions of the wedding. We initially opted to have the whole day filmed with two cameras but just a highlights video and the option to upgrade later.

In the run up Charlene was always on hand with advice and super quick to reply, despite having had a new addition to her family and dealing with all the fun and sleepless nights that brings! Charlene was with us throughout our bridal preparations, fully integrated with my bridesmaids and I and it truly felt like she was just one of the girls!

I look back on our highlights video and I can't believe the shots she got as I didn't even notice she was actually filming half the time! So much of the day flew by and things we either didn't see or had forgotten about were all documented. It helped us create more memories of our wedding day in addition to the ones we already cherish and also helped us see our day from another vantage point. The video itself in gorgeous, we had provided a few song choices in advance that we loved and then Charlene selected from these the most appropriate to the feel of the day. The first time(s) we watched it we were reduced to tears and love how many details she managed to capture. It's incredible to see how she's managed to condense an entire (action packed day) into less than five minutes of film and still do everything justice! I've actually lost count how many times we have watched it and shared it and having experienced the day and the memories captured in the highlights reel we have now decided upgrade to the feature length film and an outtakes film which we are so excited to receive!

If you are unsure about having a videographer, if nothing else, I highly recommend meeting / having a call with Charlene so you can see what you'd be missing out on! She is so incredibly skilled, clearly loves what she does and it shines through! We'll never be able to thank her enough!

Charlene and Paul filmed our Wedding in June 2022 and they were absolutely incredible! They were friendly, polite, professional and put us at ease on our Wedding Day.
They both arrived early morning to film the bridal party and the groom’s side getting ready and didn’t leave our-sides until a little while after the first dance.
The detail that they have captured throughout the day is amazing. You didn’t even realise that they were both there filming, they just fitted in with everyone.
From first meeting with Charlene right through to receiving our Wedding USB, Charlene was always there to talk to us. Whether it was for a quick check in to see how the Wedding planning was going or sneak preview of the film or just for a general chat.
