Called in to buy some Bravo lightbulbs we had not found anywhere else. Man behind the counter was so helpful. Said that in future he could always send us some in the mail. Excellent old-fashioned service. Pity all shops aren't like this.

I am so delighted with the service I received from Lumination, in particular from Alan at the Cirencester branch who went out of his way to help me with the really tricky problem that I was sure couldn't be and solved. I was trying to replace a broken lamp shade - part of a set of 12 on a six prong ceiling light and two x three prong wall lights that all had the same shades. I'd originally bought them from Lumination in 2006 so Alan kindly tracked down my order but sadly the lights were no longer manufactured and there were no spare shades to be found. However, Alan came up with a brilliant alternative that worked perfectly and I was able to swap a few shades around, put the new shades on the wall lights, and create a solution that looks absolutely fine. He also replaced a small part that had broken and gave me a special tool to fit the shades with so they are now secure. I can't thank him enough. He's saved the day and saved a set of lights that I really didn't want to replace. This shop is great because the service is great.

We received great customer service from Alan. He listened to what we wanted and was very helpful with our purchase and arranging delivery. We needed to wait quite a few weeks before we could buy the lights we wanted (due to a kitchen refurb) and he did not hurry us into a purchase at all.

We visited Lumination in Cirencester last week and were impressed with their choice of lighting. What impressed us, equally, was the first-class and knowledgeable service that we had from their Manager, Alan. Nothing was too much trouble; no question was too trivial to be answered carefully. All sorts of combinations could be pulled off to get us the look that we want in our new kitchen and we appreciated that. Thoroughly recommend.

We feel as if we have been robbed in broad daylight as we were unable to get a refund for an unused/unpacked lamp that we returned the following morning as it didn’t look right in situ once we got it home. Apparently there was a notice to say ‘no refunds’ but this was hidden and certainly not drawn to our attention when we bought the lamp. Since every other shop we use does give refunds, this feels like an extremely unfair practice. Be warned!

Great selection of bulbs and shades. I went in looking for some under hood bulbs for a kitchen counter light and was given exactly the one I needed. Unfortunately, one of them blew a few days later but when I went back, they replaced it for free. Friendly and helpful staff.
