I was gifted taster lessons for Xmas to kick start me taking up harp again. I’ve tried harp before and had given up a number of years ago, so it was with some trepidation that I went to the school. When I met Tracy the tutor, she was so nice and encouraging, despite my clumsiness and lack of skill. I’m 20 years older than the first time I tried to learn, and it shows, with arthritic hands being an issue. It’s never too late to take up music again. I’m so glad for those taster lessons snd so pleased to be playing again.

I've been going to guitar lessons with Mark for several years now since I was gifted them as a Christmas present. Mark's teaching style and musical knowledge make learning very enjoyable. I've already progressed through a couple of music grades.

My son started learning drums with one of the music school tutors. He's having fun and making progress too. Whole school is highly recommended from my perspective.

Started beginning of this year learning to play the guitar with Mark. I really enjoyed my first session when I got straight into playing a song. Mark has taught me new chords, tabs etc and given me the confidence to start my grade 1, something I never thought I would do at my age 😊 Great music school, friendly and helpful! Highly recommend

Review by Peter Morris I decided to take the plunge and start Guitar lessons at Lymm Music School I started just before Lockdown so early lessons were completed via Zoom.
After that I have been progresssing with lessons at the school on a regular basis I really enjoy the one to one tuition with Mark, who takes a genuine interest in his students, he shows lots of patience and professional understanding during the lessons.
I am progressing through grade 5 and am thoroughly enjoying it I can high recommend this school and the Guitar.
Incidentally I was 70 when I started and had literally never held a Guitar before it just shows that you're never too old to learn a new skill!

I have always wanted to learn to play the drums and finally, at just gone 40, I started and am now just over a year in. Mark has been a fantastic tutor and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my lessons. I love that the music school organises end of term concerts so that the pupils get to play for an audience and get to be inspired by other students who are on higher grades. Mark is clearly proud of his students and has a great balance of patience and motivation. I’d heartily recommend the music school for anyone of all ages. It really isn’t ever too late to start, I just wish I’d tried it 30 years sooner!!
