This site is situated in a lovely spot with views to the sea. Tons of walks direct from the site and close to hand. Loads to do in the area, especially if you have transport… but you will struggle if on a non electric bike because of some of the hills!

While the facilities need updating, they are very clean and serviceable.

The managers were really welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area with loads of good tips. They kept the site really clean and organised. Top marks! The assistant wardens were also lovely and they all worked together to really enhance our stay.

This is a typical smallish club site. It feels like it has been here for many decades and has settled into its landscape. We prefer our sites to be more real and quirky than super modern and regimented. This lovely site is certainly one of our favourites. Thank you for a lovely stay πŸ‘πŸ’¨πŸšŽ

Lovely site, received a warm welcome on arrival. Good choice of pitches. The only negative is the toilet/shower block which would benefit from updating.

Just had a two night stay with a stunning sea view. |Found Andy & his wife were so very welcoming, chatting to us about the area, pointing out great places to walk & explore. |We had the choice of pitches which were just a little slope, but we had been told about this prior so had our chocks at the ready. ||Facilities were basic but spotless, plenty of hot water for a nice long shower after a days walking. Lovely

We had a wonderful two night stay here, the staff are lovely and really helpful, the site is immaculate and the views stupendous! Nice bonus was a pizza horse box on Friday night! Half hour walk into Lynton and about the same down to the Valley of the Rocks. Would totally recommend this place. Shower block was very efficient and clean and washing up facilities good. The only down side was that on the second night a caravan parked slap bang in front of our view despite there being loads of room to park parallel with the hedge as most people had done, especially with a long caravan... the owner was just totally oblivious! Slight issue maybe for children - the site only accepts contactless payments in the little shop - so hard to buy sweeties!! Great place and we will definitely be back. Thank you team Lynton!

Lovely site with a warm welcome. was nice to be able to pick our own pitch. The walk into Lynton and Lynmouth is about a mile and all down hill. The walk back is pretty steep and a real burner.

Fantastic campsite. Wonderful sea views and amazing staff. Very helpful and friendly. Amenities were clean if a little dated. More showers would be a good idea.

We stayed here this week, even added another night on as it was just what we wanted, a quiet and chilled pace.
If you don't want for much around then this place is perfect but still only a few miles or so away from Lynton and Barnstaple in the opposite direction.
Facilities were all in good working order and cleaning and tidness of the facilities and the site in general was really good.
Wardens, we met a few of them, and we're all really friendly and helpful.
Not sure how or what is being used but the best wifi we have had on a campsite 😎
Added bonuses we had gorgeous weather which allowed us to see the amazing sunsets from the site.
If in area again, will be back.
