Don’t go to this school if you have any mental health disorders or if you are neurodivergent. This school gives no support whatsoever to help people with those problems. They also don’t care at all about bullying and let it happen. I went to this school for 5 years and it was the worst years of my life. This school made me suicidal 😂 please don’t send ur kids here I beg

Don't have your wedding here. We loved that the school would benefit from the money but regret it now. Nicky was so rude to us and wrecked our day in many ways including having a go at us, lying and turning OFF the fire alarms!!!

I've been going to this school for over a year now.
I'm in year 11 and plan to stay for sixth form! I have been given such great support here, by all the staff, and it's helped me through so much. All the teachers are friendly and I highly recommend this school to every one of you. Thank you lytchett.

I've been at Lytchett Minster School since I was in Year 9. I'm in year 13 now and I'm going to give my honest opinions of what I believe to be, generally, a good school.
Firstly, be warned, a lot of the reviews of the school on here are written by the sort of students who, if they are bored during an IT lesson or during a study period and they're not doing what there teacher tells them, they'll log onto Google and write a scathing harmful review about how bored they are right now. Its not the case for all of them but I know some of these reviewers and I can tell you first hand, this is not the place to look for reviews (except mine of course).
The school itself is beautiful. Incredible architecture and designs for most of the buildings and it is situated in a beautiful part of Britain. The greenery is outstanding and the grounds are kept as well as the nearby Stour Head gardens. I personally think many of the students take this for granted on too many levels as, for me, it is one of the key features.
The school itself strives to achieve the best of you. It asses your intellect and, as any good school should, it pushes to get the best out of you that is possible. I teacher is only as good as their student, and I must say, the teaching is excellent. Many of the staff members don't teach their subject areas because they have to, they teach them because they are passionate about the subject and want to spread their knowledge to the next generation.
The resources are excellent as well, surprising given the loss in budget that occurred when both of the fires ravaged the school in 00 and 13. Every department has more than enough resources to keep students actively engaged with the subject. For me, the music, photography and media departments are wonderful in the resources front. There is more than enough computers and you can never go too far without one and the IT department runs a tight ship, on the whole, keeping the internet acceptability policy at bay for any issues.
Overall, the school is a lively, thriving, active community full of eager students wishing to participate. When, however, you do get a silly little kid who doesn't behave this is dealt with accordingly. Unfortunately I've noticed a lot more badly behaved students recently and am hoping the school will crack down on it more in the future.
I also must state that due to budget concerns and government policies, certain activities, events, subjects etc. are being dwindled and this is of major concern. However, one cannot blame the school, one must blame the government.
I award the school 4 out of five stars mainly because the carrots in the school cafeteria are cooked terribly. On the whole, "Caf" is good but I do feel that the staff are sometimes rather harsh and the food is not cooked to perfection.
I hope your kids will learn as much in this school as I have as Lytchett Minster certainly prepared me for my future extremely well.

Lytchett Minster School is one of the best schools I've ever been to! The classrooms are spacious, the grounds are huge and the subjects are presented in exciting ways. The teachers are understanding and help you to analyse the problem when you are stuck which motivates you to exceed your usual standards. My favourite thing about Lytchett Minster School is the support that the staff provide when needed.
