Preferred it before it housed the library. There used to be 2 rooms that were ideal for meetings - now only one.
The facilities for giving an onscreen presentation are very good, but users would benefit from a display of instructions.

Bad experience with event organiser here for the craft fair (Memory Lane). Rude and abrupt after she cancelled my bookings, without prior phone call or email for no reason apart from I said the event was quiet and asked if it was always this quiet. Then put the phone down on me after she said “I’m not arguing with you”. Thought the prices for the tables were over priced for what was a “busy” time. There were strict rules to abide to such as if you don’t reply to her ‘set up email’ she’ll sell your place, even though you’ve paid for it. The room was dull, the heating was on and the windows were locked on a hot day. That was joyful standing in the sun. Disable access is not available to the front of the building, so you have to find the rear peasants entrance which I never actually saw.

Today, 12 Dec very disappointed to find no Christmas tree in the main room (there was one last year ). Also carpet was full of crumbs and some tables were grubby. Also the wall clock has been missing for many months.

Good size venue. There's a kitchen but I must observe that the serving hatch must have been designed with dwarves in mind, or maybe hobbits.

Lovely historic building. But had to pay £1 to go into a very small room to view people selling second hand tatt!

Prime position and look good from outside but Sadly the rooms are in a poor state of repair and the facilities are below standard. Tried to contact trustees but they do not respond .
