Visited for the first time yesterday as we are trying to steer well clear of supermarket bought meat and I'm happy to say we are very impressed. We had some lovely Marinated chicken breasts which were huge, succulent and full of flavour, we paired this with some super fresh veg also purchased from here and we also have some fresh pork and apple sausages in the fridge which I'm excited to try later.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, always a great bonus!
We will be going again in the next few days to try some of the higgly rated home made pies! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We when here for the first time last month the choice and quality is outstanding ended up spending £90 went again today 23/1/25 the sausage roll are superb customer service excellent spent a fair bit today be back next month.

Disappointed meat from this butchers is usually spot on but I bought 2 sirloin steaks from the valentines offer last week and they cut them and bagged them for me without me seeing them as butcher had his back to me cutting them off a large joint behind the counter and bag was sealed they cost £23 for the 2 and even though they were quite big they were very thin and full of fat and gristle only about a third was edible and such hard work to eat I will live and learn and insist on seeing what I’m getting for my money in future if I even go as I’m a regular I would honestly expect better

Went there today for the first time very impressed we had a big order all the meat looked beautiful we had a couple of the pork pies had them for lunch very very nice

Just dropped in to see what was available. Wow, a fabulous selection. Chose a spinach, cheese & onion quiche, a scotch egg and a Welsh Dragon sausage roll, all freshly baked and still warm. They were all delicious, but the standout was definitely the Welsh Dragon sausage roll, completely filled, no air gaps and perfectly spiced.
And the staff are very chatty and friendly too.

A fabulous butcher shop. It’s not even just about the top quality meats - there’s a great range of veg and cheeses too - Jane’s coleslaw is legendary. Wonderful, friendly helpful staff who provide exceptional service.
