We did the Magical Christmas experience and it was unfortunately far from magical. At £120 for two families, and having driven an hour, we were left very disappointed. The tractor ride was fair, meeting Santa was nice, but it fell down on the lack of staff and the play area lacked magic. It was more about waiting around to see Santa. After seeing him, we were moved to the farm bit where there was no staff at all, just very jumpy goats and sheep. For the price, not really worth it. We have been to far better farm experiences. In fairness, the appalling weather didn’t help. Wouldn’t recommend

We have had the best time on our coach trip today kids have had a grand old time getting muddy, taking lots of 📸 photos they loved the corn maze and we had a great choice of pumpkins.

Every member of the staff/malpas family we met were lovely and happy to help in every way they really couldn't do enough for us. We have felt very well looked after. We loved the tractor ride 🚜

Liked: As a recently opened site; this site has much potential. Very reasonably priced as only had limited facilities at this time (no showers yet).
We had a large pitch and on our first night we were the only campers (everyone else knew there was going to be gale force winds). Still, we were fine.
During our stay the owners came daily to check we were ok and asked for our feedback.
The animals and play park are a great attraction to the younger guests (though we were all taken with the baby goat).
All in all a great site and we would definitely recommend to others/visit again.

Liked: We loved our stay at the farm, the communication was great we knew exactly where to go and where to park before we arrived, we were greeted warmly and got to see a brand new baby goat which our toddler loved! There were more animals and even a cute outside play bit. Toilets were really clean also. we had the best time and will be returning, possibly bringing the rest of the family with us.
This is a new campsite so things are still getting worked on, you can see all the plans they have to improve so we are so happy to discover them before they get huge which I am sure they will!

Liked: Working farm with beautiful, peaceful views. The owners were wonderful and extremely friendly. We stayed here with our 2 young children and they had the best time playing on the small children's play areas. They loved being so close to all the animals, especially watching the farmer moving the cows into a new field close by and stroking the 6 day old goat.
If you want a nice chilled few nights camping, then this place is perfect. Toilet onsite and cleaned every single morning by the owners.
Wonderful to see a farming family working extremely hard everyday.
Thank you for a wonderful couple of days.

Liked: This was our first camping trip with our two year old and this was a lovely, peaceful family friendly site. The owners were really helpful and friendly.
We had a pleasant one night stay. Luckily we had lovely weather so our little ones could make the most of the park area and the outdoor toys. They loved seeing the farm animals too. The owners have some lovely ideas for how they intend to develop this site in the future.

Liked: Lovely site, I don't think I could find a bad word to say. Our 2 year old had an amazing time getting to roam around, play in the park and see the animals, especially Lilly and Houdini the little goats who loved the attention. The service we received was exceptional, we can't thank Barbara and Stella enough, what they do here especially for the children is brilliant with the role play village and the animals. The site is quite basic as they are only starting out but everything you need is there. They do only have cold water but boil up some water on your stove and add to the provided bucket and you are good to go. It is a short drive to the village of malpas with shops, chip shop and takeaways, pubs and a beautiful church to have a look around. No showers but the toilets are clean.

Liked: Amazing little site.
Owners greeted us with a warm welcome and showed us round the site. We picked our pitch near the play ground.
Toilets cleaned throughout the day and never without toilet roll.
Washing up area had a bowl and washing up liquid which made it so much easier.
Animals on site including goats, donkeys, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs. The kids absolutely loved the animals.
Loved the fact the playground was closed in evening to stop kids playing on it till daft o'clock at night.
Owners were brilliant. Couldn't do enough. Even gave us a menu of local takeaway that would deliver to site.
All in all I really hope to go back next year with our lot.

Disliked: No showers or drinking water. We were made aware of this at the time and took enough of our own. And for £20 a night we were OK with this.
