Obtained new plates from here and what a nice experience. James was very helpful with discussing what I wanted and explained what could and couldn't be done due to DVLA rules and regs. James threw in a couple of little anecdotes as well while I was there. Worth a visit and especially helpful to local businesses keeping in business.

I needed some fuses and done the normal of looking online but then thought about keeping it local. I had my dog with me but the owner was happy to come to the door to help. Not only that, he offered me a discount for the three packs needed. You can't get that service online. Would recommend visiting for car parts and accessories and the refit since my last visit has increased stock levels. Let's keep it local and keep these guys going.

I bought a set of Bosch bright light bulbs approximately 3 months ago. One has failed so attended the shop as it falls under warranty. The guy looks at the bulb, identified what it was and then takes one from the rack and says they are sold together.Firstly I’m told it’s only 3months warranty and that I need to return both as bought together. The sales guy then speaks to someone else who confirms it’s 12months and singular return is ok. I spend approx 15-20 attempting to find proof of purchase. Mindful it’s 2-3min before closing time I ask if I can purchase the twin packet and sort the return issue out later. To which he states he hasn’t got any...! The ones he looked at were not the replacements. I’m then told he could get some maybe tomorrow.
Clearly he struggles to grasp the concept of sales and communication.
I have since established that others have had issues with this guy

Excellent service - we have used James and the team at Maldon Accessories for many years now and purchase everything from number plates, to freshly made touch up paint sticks and spray cans, waxed, tools etc... to complete lists parts for vehicle refurbishment and rebuilds.

I’d highly recommmend this business for prompt professional assistance, fair pricing and good sound advise. It’s much better than ordering online only to receive the wrong or faulty item. Give them a try!

Stood outside for 10-15 minutes while "James" went to M&S, on his return he didn't even acknowledge me or apologize for keeping me waiting. Shop didn't have the item I wanted, ran out of stock. I want to shop local but rudeness and ignorance have put me off using this shop again.
