Attended the wake of a funeral here yesterday afternoon, and thoroughly disappointed in the place. Out of 4 toilets in the women's - 2 were out of order and the 2 sinks in there were flooding/not draining. The floors were wet and there was toilet roll all over. The function room was cold, with a clear lack of attention to any kind of upkeep or care (no ice when the room has clearly been booked in advance - there's a shop 4 minutes walk away - no excuse). Won't be returning.

Love that hall hire is free. Hate that the toilets are disgusting, half don't lock, half don't flush either and nine look to have been cleaned recently. The chair suspended at kids head height holding the fire doors shut is also an unwelcome surprise. Firstly, how many kids are going to walk into that and surely that's against fire safety? But booze isn't too expensive.

Little run down and was very overcrowded at the event I attended but the drinks were flowing and the staff were friendly so give it a go.
