Have visited this yacht club several times over the last few years with friends and my dogs. Excellent mooring facilities and extremely friendly clubhouse. Certainly one of the warmest welcomes I have found on the Solent.

I don't use Marchwood Yacht Club but am there a lot to take photos and drone footage of cruise ships.
But it appears a very nice and secure set up, see people coming and going most are friendly often asking about the drone stuff.

Its a great area to photograph the ships I find, especially with Mayflower Park being the go to for everyone else, but lately either closed completely or gates shut morning and night, due to the unsavoury types that sit in Mayflower Pk in there cars idling for hours on an evening, throwing takeaway rubbish out the windows, oh and leaving hundreds of small pressurised alloy canisters everywhere, clearly some sort of in "High"
Plus if you stand still too long rats actually run over your feet!!! Place is over run with them lately.
So this is ideal for me or Cracknore club for ships at 101 or 102 berth..

We visited as a group sailing across from Netley SC. The welcome was warm and the bar was open (table service at the moment in a covered space, indoors also available).😀 We were able to tie up at their pontoon.
Visitors by water are recommended to get in touch with the the club in advance to get the passcode for the gate on the pontoons.

Visited just as an assistant to a friend with a sailing boat. The place is very well run with great facilities. If I owned a boat, I believe I would join them. BTW you would need to be a member or a guest to get in it's not open to the general public as far as I know
