It's a pretty tired looking location these days, only really saved by some of the places open there!

Up by the tower end there was used needles and lots of rubbish and it's definitely been used by people needing the toilet!

Beautiful harbour arm with bars. There is an upper level, but the lower level is the main attraction. There are beautiful views from the end of the harbour. I took plenty of photos. It's best to go there when the tide is high as the views are much better at high tide.

Parked at the Harbour Arm…..£2.50/hour …
Pay via RINGO App. Smelly seawood stink at this end of the Bay ! Free Entry Turners paintings adjacent but check in advance which days it’s open. Lovely sandy beach and good cordoned off area to take in a coffee/dine if weather is favourable.

Super harbour with a large wall that has sevbars at the far end. The views of Margate are very good, and it is somewhat sheltered from the sea breeze.

This is like a harbour wall that stretches out from one end of the beach by the Turner contemporary gallery around to face the sea wall and buildings along the front. At the end is a really buzzing bar playing great music and a coffee shop. These are both brilliant and definitely worth the walk round. The toilets at the end were pretty disgusting, but it was a packed sunny Sunday. There’s some parking, but it always seems full.

Beautiful views across Margate. We got lucky with a stunning sunset too. Well worth a visit if you want to see the best views of the town. Refreshments available along the way too.

Margate doesn't have a pier, but the harbour arm is a good alternative. It has various places to eat and drink, a small lighthouse, a sculpture and the walkways prove good views of the coastline and out to sea.
