Had the best time with my daughter. It was my first festival and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great music, fantastic DJs, lovely staff, the best part of the day for me was Carol Thompson absolutely brilliant! She is a legend, I loved her back in the day & I still lover her now. On a negative I think the place needs a revamp all a bit grubby & bring your own loo roll.

For atmospere and history this venue is one of the best. Comfortable it is not but then when you attend a Texas gig who sits down!
It is due to close for good this summer unless a new solution can be found.
Really hope it can keep going as it is steeped on musical heritage and full of millions of memories.

It's sad to see such a wonderful Building in a sad state of decline....Badly needs renovation, decoration etc.
With the possibility of it closing before the year is out, another piece of history in the area could disappear for ever....
Over the years have been to some amazing shows and concerts....Happy memories ❤ī¸

I love this place as a venue. Very old fashioned, but sound is good enough for a gig.
Lovely location on the sea front. Free to park on the harbour arm after 8pm, ten minute walk or so to the venue.
The closest car parks fill up on even nights.
The train station is a 10-15 minute walk and well worth considering if you don't mind a walk!
I saw Royal Blood here most recently and they were awesome.

Winter Gardens is looking tired now tho.

Venue had an antique aesthetic, lovely building inside with mind blowing acoustics.

Stage is small for a medium sized venue, but this is compensated by an array of colourful lights and smoke machines.

Plenty of seating but very tricky to find where you are actually sitting.

Bar queues can drag, however there is sometimes a pre order option for drinks so take advantage of that.

The performance (Aussie Pink Floyd) was spectacular and you can be sure to admire your favourite show at Margate Winter Gardens too.

Went there for the beer and cider festival it was a great event. Not sure how nice it is as a theatre. The garden outside was pleasant to sit in and drink a beer though..

Love the winter gardens and it's traditional style, never had a rubbish night here and I've been to many shows and functions over the years!!
Had a brilliant night at the 70s and 80s disco.
Plenty of security on, and everyone had a great time.
Drinks were very pricey but I guess that's the norm these days 🙄
