100% positive experience. Dennis was very helpful answering all my questions before and during viewing. Great communication, I requested a very last minute viewing on a Sunday and he got straight back to me. His stock of cars were all high quality and he clearly cares about the type of vehicle he sells. All round nice guy and offered a good deal for my trade in. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and would highly recommend him and his business. No pressure selling, no hassle, just a great service. He even met me at the dealership late one evening after closing to allow me to collect. 10/10

After reading all the reviews on here, I was expecting to see a car worth travelling 3 hours for!!
Initially when I enquired about the car, Deniss seemed to be a genuine car dealer, answering all the relevant questions. I still double checked everything with him to make sure the car was in good condition, as it was a fair distant away.
When we arrived, we were met with a friendly face and handed the keys to have a look at the car.
The problems had started from then. We realised numerous dents and scuffs around the car inside and out. None, that Deniss had bothered to tell me about over the phone although I had asked him about the condition of the bodywork. We even noticed some work that had been carried out on the front bumper, which he admitted to. He pretended to find some pictures for the work carried out, but never was shown any. He became very defensive, constantly mentioning to us that this is a 7 year old car, what do you expect?!!
I can understand a few age related minor scuff or a small dent, but not as many as this.
We took it for a test drive, only to notice further issues with the car. Throughout the time we were driving the car, we noticed there was no heat coming from the air vents although the engine had been running for well over 20 minutes. I know usually driving a petrol car, it heats up within few minutes of driving. At this point we were sure this car was not for us with the issues it has.
After the test drive, Deniss approached us noticing that we didn't seem too happy. With an aggressive behaviour he kept saying " What's the issue now". We were taken aback by his attitude, and didn't expect to be spoken to in this manner.
When we mentioned the few issues we had with the car, he kept mentioning the age of the car and that 14k is not a considerable amount to spend on a car. He also said that he weren't aware of the heaters not working, furthering our suspicion of what we are getting oursleves into for our money. We were told if we don't like the car to go buy from a main dealer and to stop wasting his time.
He expected us just to turn up and hand over our 14k hard earned cash without inspecting the car and drive away with it.
I've never dealt with someone so aggressive and rude, appalling behaviour towards customers and at times feeling threatening. Our day had ruined, but most of all shocked to our core that a salesman can act in this way!!

Recently purchased a Range Rover Velar from Dennis & wouldn't hesitate to go back when it's time to change it. The transaction was easy & relaxed from the viewing to the collection. A fair offer on a trade in was received straight away to make the deal quick and easy. Will certainly be looking at the stock here first when its time for a change again!
Avoid lining main dealers pockets and buy from these small family run business' instead, you get so much more for your money!

An excellent and fair car dealer. I bought a car from Dennis that had been part exchanged and was therefore perhaps on the lower end of his usual portfolio. However, despite this Dennis treated me no differently and the whole process start to finish was really pleasant.

After a number of weeks the car presented a very small fault, I called Dennis with a proposed solution that I believed to be fair for us both, which he agreed too and resolved the issue fully. This shows that the aftersales is just as good as the original sale.

Thank you to both Dennis and team for all their help and making this car buying experience an enjoyable one.

The best dealer I have ever dealt with. Deniss and his wife are experts in customer service and treat you like family form first viewing the Car until buying it. They are both so knowledgeable and would go above and beyond for me staying late on weekends and weekdays to fulfill promises they set out for me. The BMW 330i I bought is stunning and was in amazing condition. I test drove the car twice and nothing was an issue for Deniss or his wife. Part exchanging my car was a breeze too and have a great value on it. The car was so clean and it was a pleasure to buy from your company and family Deniss. I would recommend anyone to buy from this family run car business 100%. Thank you Deniss and family.

I drove 4 and a half hours to purchase a £10,000 BMW X5 from Mark Teys Motors in October 2023, which also came with a 6 month warranty. I had only the car for about 6/7 weeks and in December 2023 the car broke.
I got in contact with Deniss from Mark Teys Motors straight away regarding getting my vehicle repaired via the warranty company - as I was quoted £3400 for the repair.
As stated in the Consumers Right Act 2015, the car must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as I had only had the car 6/7 weeks I didn’t consider it being any of those things.
The same Act also states that if the problem is reported outside of the first 30 days then you have to give the selling garage one opportunity to repair or replace your car, so I contacted Deniss at Mark Teys Motors to give him the chance to fix the car.
After emailing & ringing, Deniss started by telling me that it was nothing to do with him and to use the warranty company as it should be covered, which apparently also wasn’t the case either as the warranty company stated the issue was wear and tear and refused to pay. I don’t believed I caused all that in less than 7 weeks!
We all eventually reached some sort of agreement where Deniss at Mark Teys Motors would pay £1000 as a ‘good will gesture’ as it was ‘unfortunate’ that the car had broken and that the £1000 was ‘reasonable’, bearing in mind the repair quote was £3400. The warranty company also agreed to pay £1000 towards the repair costs and I would pay the rest. This was confirmed several times via email and phone calls.

I now haven’t heard from Deniss at Mark Teys Motors since the end of January 2024. I have recently had my car fixed and the warranty company, true to their word, paid the £1000 that they said they would, but I am still yet to hear from Deniss at Mark Teys Motors regarding the £1000 he said multiple times in emails he would pay towards the repair to my car.
My last contact with him were a text on 18/04/2024, which he read and ignored (it says read on my text the same day I sent it) and also an email on 20/04/2024 to let him him know my car had been repaired as he had told me ‘once the car is repaired send over the invoice and i will pay my part of the repair’ and I am still being ignored,
Based on my experience of after care (or lack of it!) by Deniss at Mark Teys Motors I would advise anybody considering purchasing a car from this garage to think again as I have had nothing but problems from the moment I drove away from the garage.
