Lovely walk through the countryside to see a quaint waterfall. Definitely a hidden gem.

Detailed review and guidance (hopefully the pictures upload in the right order):
There are 2 ways to get to the falls from Marske, one more picturesque but a bit muddy underfoot, and one less scenic but a much easier walk. Both routes are about 2.3km (1.4miles) each way.
We did a full loop round which took approximately 1hour40mins at a gentle amble pace.

First the scenic route (approx 1hour one way). [Pictures 2-21]:
There is a small parking area just off the junction in Marske for Richmond and Skelton (picture 1). There is a road leading up quite close to the falls but is single track with no parking along the way. The public footpath sign is easy to miss but is just next to the road bridge at the junction.
Be sure to have sturdy footwear and prepare to get your feet a bit muddy in the squelched mud at the start of the path.
The rest is pretty expected, traipsing through some livestock fields along the riverside and then crossing the stone bridge into more fields. Through some gates and over a stile takes you out onto a quiet road leading to Telfit Farm. At the end of the road, take the right following a sign for Orgate farm and walk along the road (the sign says private road but is directed at vehicles and is still a public walkway). A short walk down and you come to a small stone bridge and the falls. Ta-da!

Now the accessible route (approx 40minutes one way). [Pictures 27-34]:
Not quite wheelchair friendly but could probably manage to get a lightweight pram along this route. Most of the route is road or hard track, with only a small part of potentially muddy/grassy walking. Perfect cycle route though!
Same as the first route, you can park down near the junction and bridge in Marske (picture 1), or you may be able to find somewhere on Old School Lane, just off Clapgate Bank (picture 34).
From here, you can follow the public bridleway along the hill and past some lovely cottages into a private woodland track (still public bridleway access). Out the other side of the woods and a short walk along the hillside until you reach the road at Orgate Farm, where you go left down the hill and arrive at a small stone bridge and the falls!
