I've not visited the place, only had mail order. This time I've ordered a few half tins of my favourites to try, usually it's just Black Bullets. A couple of tins already given away as presents.... The delivery took a little longer than I expected but I don't mind.

My partner has just received two bags of Yorkshire Mixture sweets with a model railway goods wagon he ordered from Rails of Sheffield. I am ashamed to say that although I lived in Sheffield for 51 years (moved away 19 years ago) I had never heard of Maxons, although I do remember buying loose Yorkshire Mixture sweets as a child. These bags of sweets are excellent and the sweets just as I remember them. Will no doubt now be ordering more online! 😁

I got the Yorkshire mix for a hamper I made for my husbands birthday. We really enjoyed them! The packet was full, good variety of different flavours and great quality! We can't wait to buy some more! 😊

These boiled sweets are fantastic (yorkshire mixture) Ive tryed several brands of yorkshire mixture sweets over the years, and these sweets are by far the best, in size and flavours.

Extremely disappointed. Just purchased the 'stupidly sour' tub costing £1, i've had more 'sour' from yoghurt...Take a leaf out of Barnetts mega sours book (which i usually purchase, and can handle about 2 a day- yours however i've eaten the tub, and i've still got skin on my tongue...rubbish!)

Was given a 3.5kg jar of winter mixture ... 50% was flavourless .... Macon’s say it’s peppermint.... who wants peppermint in winter mixture ? They say they’ve always been like that and everyone is happy... what do you think?
