Bought a Maloney's Desperate Dan steak pie on Saturday. Oh my, it was the best pie I have ever tasted. It would easily feed six people but my husband and I had a quarter each. I am now we're huffing and puffing because it was sooo good. Will definitely be back for more

I have been down here a few times over the last couple years, highly recommend their cuts of meat and love grabbing their fresh made sausage rolls, 1000x better than anything bought at Greggs or a Supermarket.

Me and my wife used to be a regular here for quite a few years while I lived in Ravenshead and the meat was exceptional, but I feel over the past year or so the quality has declined and prices seem to be quite high even for a small butchers shop. I will give Maloneys another go as I have moved into the Blidworth area so it is local for me, although I have visited the new meat van in Rainworth and seems to be better quality and better value.

Best beef I have cooked and tasted all year.
Sirloin particularly cooks easily lightly oiled, with excellent marbling and is extremely tender.

Lovely butcher with great produce but the only downside is the opening hours! They shut early and are always closed when I get home from work!!
