We bought your Sarah Darlington's Creamed Horseradish Sauce from the Venison Centre, Bwlch, Wales. It is so lovely. Beautiful flavour without being uncomfortable in the nose department! We'll get more next week. Thank you. Alun

Purchased a piccalilli in a farm shop/butcher in Bakewell at a premium price. Made with love and so much spirit vinegar that any other flavours are lost. Tasted much better.

I was so impressed with the taste, the packaging got me. From a private retailer too. Price was great. My question is, why do great home started brands start using gmo crap when starting to mass produce. Is it a prerequisite for supermarkets or a masonic thing?

We love curd in our house. We found a farm shop on holiday and bought two jars, blackcurrant and passion fruit.

Sorry to say it was vile. It is so sweet that it completely masks the flavour of the fruit. If blindfolded I wouldn't know one flavour from the other.

I'll be sticking to Tesco Finest.

I got their extra blueberry jam made with wild blueberries from a National Trust visit. I was expecting this to be top tier. I can honestly say that there is no other flavour than sugar. If you taste it blindfolded you will not be able to tell what is the fruit they made it from, I've never tasted anything like it before. Anything you can get from your local shop is better. The ingredients say sugar first which means is the most dominant ingredient, that means for 1kg of fruit you get more than 1kg of sugar which is bonkers. When I make homemade jam I use 300gr of sugar for 1kg of fruit so it tastes like fruits, even if you do 1:1 proportion it will still taste like fruit, not sure how much sugar you need to add for the fruit flavour to completely disappear. I also suspect the quality of the fruits they pu5 in is awful most lively frozen. If you've ever had wild blueberries you how naturally sweet and tangy theyvare, doesn't compare to store bought ones. I should have read the ingredients list before purchase. I hope other things they make are good, I would be very upset to see people paying so much for this so called "home-made" brand of preserves when the quality of the product is this low. I never thought I would write a review for a jam but this was so bad, I had to say something.

Beautiful products!! Had a slight issue with a jar of pickles and the company certainly exceeded my expectations with replacement. Would never purchase any slightly cheaper rivals as you get what you pay for!! 10/10 for products and service Darlington & daughters❤️
