Friendly staff and good quality beer and a decent price. I pop in quite regularly for a pint and to sit and read my book - nice to do so in the tent outside when the weather isn't baltic, but equally nice to sit in the bar itself.

We walked here from Marden, glad when we got there as really needed a drink!

Place is well set up, they have a big tent area set up with patio heaters for when it's busy, and the inside area (the armoury!) has enough space for a few people to sit.

They have a few beers on tap and others available in bottles, as well as some juices, wine and local cider. You can also stock up on snacks if your having a few beers - on our visit I went for a pizza, which wasn't massive but did soak up some of the drink!! (Not the best pizza in the world or anything, but did the job I needed it to!)

Staff were friendly and talked to us about the beers available, and there was generally a good atmosphere during our time there. Place seemed clean which was also nice. Toilets available in the armoury.

Look forward to visiting again when it's perhaps a bit warmer!

I'm so sorry to post such a negative review. But based on my experience yesterday, this place is for locals only. I was made to feel like I had no idea what I was talking about. The beers on the stillage where unclearly labelled, there was a small A4 notice at the far end of the serving area, which had the available beers to take away (4x cans and a few more mini-kegs). The positioning of this sign made me lose my space in the small queue. The bar man made no attempt to talk with me when I was asking about the cask beers, but was more interested in talking with a friend in the queue behind me. This is the sort of craft brewery that is so far up it's own ar*e, that it gives others a bad name. The beer I did buy was totally acceptable, but nothing special.

Lovely location, loads of parking, good walks nearby. Good selection of drinks. Good food truck options. Dog friendly which is a plus. Everyone there is really friendly and welcoming. Live music and different events throughout the year.

I arrived on Friday afternoon around 15.40.
To be told find only available to 4pm take away.
The bar wasn't open until 4pm.
When we advised the Web site said 09.30.

Was abrubt when we said about the times almost talking to us as if we where stupid.
And said the Web site us correct
I thought he attitude was unexceptable to protencial customers.
If he was more amicable I might have waited to opening time.
But no sale that day.
When you look for Musket Brewery on Google maps it only show the times for the Musket Brewery not the Armoury Tap room.
Thiswas my point.
Very disappointed
Need to look at your staff need to be more amicable..
Of course the Brewery & The tap room have different names.
Need to check out the Web sites and your staff

Tasty cask ales served in a chilled friendly environment. The brewery can be seen from the bar.

Great place for real ale. Great atmosphere plus they have a curry van turn up on a Wednesday evening really good beer and really good authentic curry. You can also bring your dog & kids. Can't go wrong!
