Now a few days short of 6 months waiting for my pension benefits to be paid and have spent hours on the phone waiting to get through to speak to yet another pension administrator who does not know the facts and attempts another spin on the latest update.
There has been a calamitous episode of mistakes throughout this time and to say I am angry is an understatement.
No accountability and has been THE worst six months I have experienced dealing with these incompetent people. Be aware that the Remedy option has caused carnage and financial hardship in my particular case and still not resolved as yet !!!!! 😒

Service is shockingly bad, when they actually eventually reply to an email they haven’t read the enquiry correctly, so it’s a pointless response. Query of missing pension is nearly 2 years old now and still no nearer to completion as no one has a clue. I’m having to send proof of correspondence for letters they sent less than 2yrs ago. Awful.

I have lived in Thailand for almost 24 years without visiting the UK. My list of complaints about the MyCSP staff is extensive but I will add a summary. I am 76 years of age in a few weeks and have been locked out of my Portal Account for almost 15 months. They blocked me because I used an incorrect password; but failed to tell me. Banking issues, wrong address, overpayment demands, not answering emails, impossible to get through by phone, generally total ignorance of the staff and lack of continuity with specific issues and even more. Shocking and abysmal performance by their untrained staff and someone in authority should shut it down, sack 10 department heads and start again. A complete disgrace for a Government Department. Even the Pension Ombudsman website is now unavailable.

Really gone down hill, they used to be a lot more efficient. Cant get through on the phone for hours and give up when it gets beyond there published working hours. You don't know how far you are down the list of callers. They are already more than 3 months beyond the date they said they would give me a quote.

Communication is awful. They often don't respond to emails. They claim to have sent out letters when they haven't. They claim not to have received letters when they have. I don't know if they're extremely overworked, or incompetent, or just don't care. But they are a bad joke.

Absolute shambles and disgrace.

Applied for my pension 7 months ahead of planned retirement date.
I have accepted their quotation and my pension should have commenced 18 July 2024
We are now on the 29th August 2024, no payments, no explanation, cannot get through on phones and don't reply to emails.
How can these crooks get away with this? Oh yes, I know why, because corruption and incompetence runs deep within government run organisations!!!!

If they were a private company they would be hurled through the courts and probably have gone bust!!

Have been trying to contact since September. No reply to emails, calls or my complaint. Absolutely awful and I am at a loss as to what to do now.

What absolutely horrendous customer service. 45 minutes in a queue following numerous unanswered emails to be told I need to be transferred. 20 minutes and counting in current queue!
