A beautiful old town and we loved everything about it including the gardens a short walk up the road from the Market Hall.
There were some people selling various items in the market hall yesterday so it is still used. It is definitely the focal point of this beautiful old town. Parking is just off road.

Great place to shelter from the rain! Lovely ancient building, all the better for not having been turned into some themed visitor experience or otherwise tampered with. Old Amersham a good place for a wander, particularly in winter, on account of decent paths and its wide main street, churchyard and garden.

London and it's suburbs are full of stories and this quaint old market hall just beside the beautiful Saint Mary's church sure has a name and history of its own. To be honest I expected it to be a bit larger and bigger like all the other market halls I have been to in other cities. Was a bit disappointed in that count but who am I to comment on something that has been sitting there for ages. There are some nice locals selling their ware their and is highly recommended for a good smiling chat while you sample or buy their stuff. However the count of vendors are about ten so be cautioned if you are expecting a huge path to trod while sampling and shopping from the aisles.

A beautiful hall that is suitable for all occasions. Unfortunately it is not wheelchair friendly, but it didn't affect me as I'm not in a wheelchair. The building is listed too, making it all the more special. The staff are also just lovely. All in all, a great location for events!
