Terrible customer service. Carpenters on a job had put a nail through an underfloor heating pipe. I had requested repair couplings, despite it being ordered before 3:30 p.m. for next-day delivery, it has not been sent until this morning, which means it will arrive a day later and has now messed up the job for me. Additionally, I ended up paying double the price for the parts compared to the initial quote they gave me.

Despite still trading the company went into administration in August 2024 and then resumed trading. They now say all warranties for purchases before Aug 24 are void (Which i needed as manifold has broken). So the 50 year warranty on pipes and 10 years on manifold are totally useless as they will probably just go into administration again in a few years and then reopen in a continuous loop. AVOID!!!!

Well! Omnie did respond with renewed energy,The engineer they send was first class caring and explianed everthing in detail. Could not have asked for better response, and he was in pain with a bad back!. nevertheless took his time to ensure we were happy..
OLD REVIEW:
New large house system 5 beds, failed on all counts, poor design, engineer eventually attended but did not understand system design … plans incorrect others corrected with no help from Omni. No active telephone support. Asked to attend and commission 3 weeks ago and they have still not visited after request by Jewsons … had to hire others to get system commissioned all thermostats removed and scrapped and replaced with Neo Heatmiser’s system now working after three months of occupying house no help from Omni Exeter .

These people have got the be the worst I have ever dealt with. I emailed an enquiry on the 19th September. I sent emails chasing my enquiry 4 times and rang them chasing my enquiry 4 times. I have just received my quote (17th October) after chasing them again this morning. I have just tried to ring them to ask a question about the quote and been cut-off 3 times. I have told my customer that it might be better if they went direct, but they don't want to deal with them as they say they are incompetent. I have given 1 star only because it is the lowest it will give me to allow me to send this review.

Appalling company who are about to face legal action from us. Not sure if there operations are incompetent, fraudulent or they are going bankrupt

We placed a order over 4 months ago and paid in full. Told delivery would take 4 weeks. Very soon after paying we were told due to shortage of raw materials delivery would take 8 - 12 weeks. Over this time, we received parts in dribs and drabs. We are now waiting for the final part so we can actually install the UFH which is the top panels. Without these the UFH cannot be installed.

Its constant lies. Delivery will be on these dates, our system is down, we will call you back with information.

Was passed to lawyer this morning and letter of intent will be with them by the end of week. Based on the LADS on this project which we will be claiming of Omnie/ Ridgespear. If there were not already insolvent, they will be now.

Avoid at all costs - There are identical systems out there from people who can actually deliver

Please be cautious specifying or buying anything from them. Omnie have major supply chain issues.

Upfront payment demanded with the delivery dates confirmed in writing. Delivery dates missed. They have received payment a few months ago and I still have equipment outstanding. They simply sell the goods they do not have and then can't deliver what although agreed in writing and well in advance.
Huge delays easily avoided if you shop elsewhere!

I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Omnie Underfloor Heating Systems. As someone who undertook a significant renovation project, I relied on Omnie for the installation of their underfloor heating system throughout my property. What followed was an appalling series of miscommunications, incompetence, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

From the onset, communication with Omnie was a nightmare. Despite multiple emails and phone calls to maintain momentum, responses were sluggish and often took several days. Specifically, the representative handling my case, failed to provide timely and accurate information, leading to significant misunderstandings and costly mistakes.

Despite clear instructions and architectural drawings that labelled the intended use of each room, including multiple verbal mentions that several areas would be tiled, Omnie proposed, supplied, and installed an MDF top board unsuitable for tiling. It wasn’t until the tilers arrived that I discovered this critical error. This oversight was confirmed by Omnie’s own team, who then had the audacity to suggest that the suitability decision should have been left to the tilers – a blatant attempt to pass the buck and avoid responsibility.

To rectify this, I had to incur an additional £1,650 in costs to install a concrete layer over the existing system, not to mention the additional delays and the disruption caused to the overall project. This also impacted the bespoke oak staircases and transition joints between different flooring types, adding further complexity and expense.

What’s even more infuriating is the lack of response from Omnie’s managing director, Brendan Hourican. who, after acknowledging the issue and promising to review the case, took 10 days to reply with an email that attempts to wash the company's hands of any responsibility for their mistakes, leaving me with no choice but to consider legal action.

Omnie’s service has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by poor advice, inadequate specifications, and abysmal customer support. I strongly advise anyone considering their products to look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration, additional costs, and the appalling lack of accountability that Omnie seems to champion.
