I am delighted with the bespoke gate Orlando has made for my courtyard! It's beautiful and atmospheric but also very practical.
Orlando's brief was to create a handsome security gate for a courtyard entrance similar to a design I'd found and admired, and to fit to this gate a Banham lock. He checked in with me during the gate's making, sending me images, and was open to changes I suggested despite the extra work created. The day of installation went smoothly and I was impressed by Orlando's attention to detail, a rubber lining for instance being fitted to stop the gate clanging shut. He also disposed of the old gate for no extra charge and came back several weeks later to check his work and complete some re-touching to the paint.

Orlando's work exceeded all expectations. The quality of his craftsmanship is of the highest order. We asked Orlando to help repair broken flower pot holders, and build a front fence for our wall. He took immaculate care of each task, even fixing our front gate and side fence to ensure consistency of design with the new fence. The end product is stunning.

Orlando and his team did a wonderful job building railings for my front garden. I never knew how many components went into railings! Every single one was chosen with great care regarding size, proportion and suitability for the appearance and date of the property. He even made up some samples to help me decide. And did some metal repair for my next door neighbour gratis because he saw it needed doing. I am really pleased with the result, and greatly enjoyed the whole experience of working with him – and how often do people say that about any kind of building work?! Highly recommended.
