Avoid this man and this company at all costs. He asked for £2.5k deposit off a £3.5k electric gate motor repair. He did some of the work and despite phoning numerous times and being given excuse after excuse never saw him again or the deposit. Had to get another more reputable firm in to finish it. A complete and utter cowboy! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Trevor was recommended to me by the original installer of the driveway gate and garage system. Hi Trevor,

You leave me no choice but to write a review about you as you to date have failed to respond to me and ignored all my letters and messages. I am doing this to give you a final chance to refund me my deposits before I take legal action.
As per the statutory demand sent to you 21 days ago you have not responded. I now have the right to take legal action. In summary I paid a deposit of £945 on 12th October 2020 to fit a balcony for me. I chased you so many times and you told me you had issues with materials or was sorting it then was unwell and would sort it. I have never had the materials for the balcony and had to pay someone else to get this done in the end. I also paid you £2613 on 21st July 2020 to do my decking. You said you needed the money for materials and after so much trouble you finally started the job by only making a wooden structure and said the decking was with the suppliers. Once again this has never got done and the wooden structure looks really bad outside my building. I told you so many times to just give me the decking that is with suppliers and you failed to do that. Its been nearly 4 years now since you have left me in this mess. This is really unfair to take peoples money and then make them chase you like this and ignore them. I would definiteley not recommend you to anyone and you left me no choice but to do this review as I don’t want more people to lose money like this and you just ignore me if I phone or text so this is the only way to communicate. I will now start legal proceedings and send you a court order and leave it to the courts to take further action if you do not refund in full. P.S I had to tick one start to do this post otherwise it should be Zero Stars

Highly recommended! Trevor came to fix our broken gates at the drop off a hat. It turned out to be a complicated job but Trevor worked long into the night; in the freezing cold to ensure it was fixed to the highest of standard. Very reasonably priced, superb craftsmanship and a true gentleman!

In one word--brilliant. I had known Trevor since I was a university student living in a rented accommodation. Hired Trevor to do DIY jobs without a second thought for my new home due to his good work ethics and work experience. He had a wide range of experience working for property development companies previously and was able to pint point unseen/hidden problems that often come with a new property. He offers suggestions to the solution with a reasonable price tag. Some of the things I requested him to do include installing wardrobe, bath shower mixer, door locks, curtain poles, outdoor camera etc. He is able to make a customise gate as well, which I would request him to do in due time. There are occasional where Trevor is unable to make it to the appointment due to his busy schedule or unexpected delay in his previous job, which can upset the clients including me. However, he always try to make it up one way or another to get the job done without compromising the quality of the work/service he provides. Overall, he is all rounded person and I would recommend him to anyone who wants an experience trustful personnel who will take care of your home as if it is his home. And I would recommend any potential client to contact him in advance to book for an appointment and list down a list of jobs you would prefer him on the day rather than adding jobs in the last minute.

Great advice over the phone, very easy to deal with, clearly well-trained and experienced, versatile and knowledgable, very responsive, i enjoyed listening to the advice of someone who clearly knows what he is doing, a genuine breath of fresh air. Requested a quote for repairing an old electric gate that wasn't working as it should. What I received several days later was an invoice for a call out and assessment. This was a surprise. Expectations were managed quite poorly (in my experience). A real shame as we clearly couldn't then approve the quote for the job itself. Placed me in a difficult position with block mgt co co-directors. I would recommend but advise be very clear about the terms on which initial attendance is agreed. A lesson learnt for us. I note that there are many other positive reviews and our experience appears to be an exception.
