Down on holiday from up north, was recommended to visit the glass blowers. Went in and bought 4 glass animals, a glass bird and a heart and absolutely love it all!! We had a lush chat with the woman behind the till (didn’t get her name unfortunately) who gave us some great recommendations for places to go. Loveliest encounter to start off our holidays. Thank you so much for letting us watch you craft your beautiful glass pieces. I always used to visit cockington as a kid (with my parents), and used to stare at the window for hours. Was quite nostalgic coming back today and actually be able to buy something to take home.

Fun to watch the glass blowing happening. Unfortunately a lot of the items on sale are actually made in China. OurGlass go out of their way to hide this.

Lee James and team very sensitively created paperweights with our darling dog's ashes. Lee guided us through the process of obtaining and sending the ashes, and then he incorporated them into a beautful lead crystal design, with a black swirl (see image). The whole experience was sensitively handled, and we're delighted with the finished work. The whole process was very quick, and we highly recommend it if you have a beloved pet that you wish to have a more permanent memorial.

I have many items from OurGlass I love them each piece is unique because they may look the same but because they are hand made there are different elements to all the patterns differ, you can have names and dates engraved on the bottom of any purchases, I was lucky enough to get a 25th anniversary piece of which I understand the new king has, would recommend anyone who appreciates quality to visit if they are in the area, also I think they represent good value for money because they are not expensive for what you get.

Such a gem of a shop/workshop and lovely welcoming owners/staff too. Really reasonable prices, we will visit and buy again. Especially some Christmas baubles when the time comes!
