23/12/23 First ever visit to Parkside for a #VNLS match. Aveley FC 0-2 Slough Town. Adult entry £15, Students £10, Concessions £10, Programme £2, Pin badge £4. Free ample parking. I really enjoyed my first visit to Aveley and not just because of the result. I found the volunteers, stewards and supporters were all very friendly and welcoming. I will praise the stewards especially as they knew how to treat away fans (Please take note Bromley FC!) who recognised we were no threat and had come to enjoy the football and have a laugh. The ground itself is very nice. It’s a bit open to the elements, especially wind! The main stand seats around 150 and has the bar behind it. The bar is very good, big open space, plenty of room, several TV screens and super clean toilets (take note again Bromley FC). Behind each goal there are two small terraced stands which are covered. I’ve docked a star because of this because it looks weird and would be much better if they were together. Opposite the main stand is another 200 seat covered stand. There is wheelchair access and you would easily be able to make it around the ground. Overall I had an enjoyable visit and would highly recommend going if you’ve never been before. Thanks again Aveley and hope we get to play each other again next year.

A nice Essex based football ground used by Aveley FC in the Isthmian League & Cannons Wood in the Thurlow Nunn League. Sheltered viewing on all sides. In the main stand there is a big hall with a bar, which can be hired for celebratory events.

Nice facilities albeit very open with hardly any shelter around the pitch side stands. Tea bar hidden at end of the main stand, around the corner. Club bar prices quite steep. Will no-doubt be a very nice place when finished.

Very good ground, nice big club house, been to old ground before but not there new ground . It was a EJA midweek cup final game so Aveley Fc was hosting the final. The people behind the bar help me out with a pair scissor to cut my cable tyres that used for my flag over the fence .. i most appreciated for loan of them . The only problem with all ground in non league new and old is the toilet are at one of the ground. So if you the other end a bit of a walk to them.... but 10 out of 10
