Purchased the twin tank table top fryer in August, less than a month later the thermocouple broke. The business was took over the beginning of August but due to the gas man not fitting the correct gas hoses the engineer from Parry couldn't fix it. We changed it to the correct hose but when another engineer came he stated the canopy overhang was inadequate and the cut off supply was insufficient, (basically the previous owners had bodged everything up and done set it up on the cheap!). Parry then informed us the warranty was void as the kitchen had not been correctly set up. The fryer was out of use from August until January. Roll on to the last couple of weeks the igniter wasn't lighting very well, until last week when it would not light at all. We had an electrician out, the igniter cable has completely snapped off, see picture! Now for a product costing just shy of £900 you would expect these things to work correctly for at least 1 year! Another thing is the oil does not drain out correctly as there is a dip in the middle of the fryer and when the baskets are lifted they dip into the oil. So all round I would not recommend this product or any of there equipment if this is anything to go by.

What an experience! We ordered 2 stainless Steel self assembly shelving units. It took 4 deliveries to get the right components, each delivery 2-3 weeks apart. Parrys claim they are assembled and checked before taking apart and dispatch, which is clearly untrue. The units take ages to put together because the tolerances are so poor. In some fixings it is impossible to fit the bolts. And all this could so easily be solved with larger holes. In this age of precision CNC machining and presswork this is a sad reflection on the state of UK manufacturing. And after all it is just uprights and shelves. I am really keen to support our home industries but sometimes it is very depressing.

DON’T BUY!!! DON’T BUY!!! DON’T EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MOBILE CATERER!!!
We bought table top gas fryer which after not more than 20 times of use STOPPED WORKING BECAUSE IS FAULTY!!!
Because you the fryer is still in warranty their lovely team send me parts, but THEY CANNOT FIT IT, I have to find Engeenier which will cost between 350-500£ labor only!!! Yes, that’s right the fryer cost me 900£!!! ITS FAULTY!!!
THEY DON’T want to repair it, because I am a rich mobile caterer and not poor restaurant owner 😉

Had a problem with one of their units and the third party seller (Easy Equipment - don't ever buy from them!!!) was not helping or being reasonable. I contacted Parry directly and after speaking to Jasmine in their customer service team the problem was resolved. We are too quick to moan about poor service but forget to praise great customer care. I can fully recommend Parry products and their company. They have restored my faith in the buyers and sellers relationship.

Company leaves replies to negative feedback asking the consumer to make contact with them to discuss the issue however, the company already has the contact details of the consumer but does not reach out to resolve the issues raised. It is clear the only reason for the company to reply to the negative feedback is in a poor attempt to appear that they are making efforts to resolve the issues. We have had no follow up from this company in an effort to resolve the issues. Avoid this company at all costs.* I contacted this company this morning to try get some spare parts for a Parry pie warmer that I had purchased recently. I initially spoke with a lady who advised me to contact one of the companies that Parry supply spare parts however, on contacting that company I was informed that Parry won’t supply anyone with spare parts. I subsequently contacted a few other outlets that said on their website that they had these spare parts only to be told the same story about Parry not allowing customers to purchase spare parts. I have contacted Parry again asking can they supply me with these parts but was told “we buy in these parts and we can’t get them” however this was followed up by a comment about only if your machine is under our 2 year warranty we would supply the parts! I pushed further on the comment and said well if I had a machine under warranty and the part broke then how would you replace the part if you “can’t get them”? The response I got to this was that the company would get the parts for the warranty customer. So what have I learned today ? Buying a machine from this company is a gamble, it seems that you cannot get ANY spare parts if something goes wrong. These machines retail new at €600plus which is not cheap. The unwillingness to assist a potential client is the number one sin for a business. At this point I will now put this machine in the dump and never purchase a product with the Parry name on it again. It seems that big catering suppliers of these machines are not aware of the total lack of customer support available from the manufacturer. There are many other good companies out there providing good quality catering equipment and offering a great customer service. As a side note, I wish I had read the other reviews about this company before purchasing any catering equipment with this brand on it.
