Cycle toured through..... Got a scotch egg (always have to try the local scotch eggs) and a sausage roll.... very satisfactory indeed... Nom nom.... Even before trying anything I had checked opening times for the day after.

I then made sure we cycled past the day after as well, to stock up on the days provisions. So hot cheese and bacon turnovers for breakfast. Fantastic.
I had a ham and cheese baguette, and cycle tourer now had egg mayonnaise and ham. Lovely and tasty ham.
We also happened to stock a lamb and mint pie.....just incase we needed something extra. Wow! Highly recommended..... And a spare sausage roll. Which did manage to make it to breakfast the next day.

Lovely friendly staff..... We were served by 3 of them.

The only thing missing was a Scottish style "Lasagne pie".

Thankyou very much. Will definitely steer us in this direction if passing again.

great village butchers that supply lots of pubs and resturants, can get very busy, lots of fresh meat on display and also can be cut to your size or requirement. they also have a deli serveing sliced meats and cheeses, along with various pies and chutneys, vinagers and fresh bread and veg. very helpful staff who like a laugh to help the day. highly recommend.

They sell the best sausages around, the Bampton Royals are amazing. The bacon is delicious and the staff are friendly and chatty.

Superb sausages and bacon.
We tried the Bampton sausages,long chipolatas and the thick smoked streaky bacon. Wonderful for breakfast,up there with the best.Many thanks.

Fantastic butcher with a good side delicatessen. Staff are friendly, service is professional and the place is spotless. Good, simple Covid management. Heartily recommend.

Great range, prices are decent. Walking in was a strange atmosphere, a Young male member of staff made me Feel extremely uncomfortable I couldn't wait to get out and only brought one item due to feeling uneasy.

Very terrible experience with Patrick Strainge Butchers, I was given the wrong order, they messed up completely what I ordered, and shocking non apology whatsoever, was treated with sarcasm instead. The staff are not friendly, looks grumpy all the time.I will not buy again and sadly I dont recommend.
