On way to work this morning and this idiot driver of yours decided to completely cover the entire footpath with his wagon. Only way around was to walk on the road. Saw an elderly lady struggle just to walk around the truck and nearly fall over. You need to train your drivers how to park! Disgraceful

Big Ian saved the day, what a gentleman and top man! Very commendable and respectful individual who spoke to the local residents on Whitacre Road and Botha Road and helped clear up the rubbish and mess. He's an asset to McGowan Grab Hire. Well done McGowan 👏

The guy who manages the grabbers (Andrew) is very arrogant and dismissive. He said the grabber should be with me in an hour after I asked if they could come earlier, they didn't show or apologise till nearer to the original time. When I called him and explained this, he told me the driver was on a "taco break". This caused me severe inconvenience as I cancelled other duties I had to wait for the grab. After going back and forth, he threatened to cancel the grab. I told him I am not going to beg him to keep it, after he cancelled I phoned their office to let them know, as the guy who manages the grab isn't even the owner. I thought he was! He even sent me laughing emojis on WhatsApp joking about my complaint (see attached) - totally unprofessional manager of the grabs. This happened March 2025.

I feel like it’s only fair that I review each time I’ve had a bad encounter with one of the drivers - which judging by the criteria for their staff, will take me a while. Please stop just hiring anybody who has the ability to go bald before their time and can barely speak the English language (which is ironic considering they know all the racially aggravating remarks under the sun). Your drivers are bullies and seem to think they can get away with speaking to young girls like dirt on the bottom of their shoe. Absolutely horrible reputation.

Regularly catch their drivers running red lights and generally driving like maniacs - if one of these tippers hits you in an accident, you're dead! These drivers are literally playing Russian Roulette daily.

Couldn’t fault the service at all, called late Friday afternoon and had a driver turned up on time with the materials I needed first thing Saturday morning. Nothing was too much trouble and he left the area clean and tidy when I had my old soil taken away. Great service, thank you!
