I'd give 10 stars if I could..
Had head reconditioned and turbo. Also oil pick up replaced and a few other bits. Superb work, very professional, very knowledgeable heads and shoulders above the average car garage and Barrie is an all round great guy..
Will definitely send all work on my TT to him from now on. Can't recommend this business enough

Came to Philspeed with an engine that needed a full rebuild with a few performance and custom pieces along the way. After discovering i had a blown head gasket on my classic mini. Philspeed resurfaced the cylinder head for me, they also discovered the valve seats were in bad shape so also reseated them in the process.
They gave me a timescale ans stuck to it. Great service and a very happy customer. Definitely recomend 👍

Barrie sorted an EGR issue very fast, remapped my E350 and pulled out all the stops when existing map was found to have errors and caused problems. I would thoroughly recommend Philspeed.

As you as we met Barrie we were both at ease to discuss the prospect of fitting some second hand rear seats into our Caddy Maxi.. These were in such good condition and so versatile it didn't take long to know that a good job would be done.
Very quick time, despite some fitting issues, a very impressive finish, especial with the carpeting and trims. Good price too.
We would both reccommd Barrie at Philspeed Engineering.. I for one will return for more work which we have planned planned for our lovely Caddy.

Barrie went above and beyond just doing the head gasket on my VW Touran putting so much more time and energy to get my car running amazingly.
Nothing was too much trouble and he had a tenacious approach and would not be beaten by this problematic vehicle.
Engine bay was cleaned, and advice given for a long life, (the engine. Not mine!).
Well done Barrie, will recomended highly.

Had a head skimmed and valve stem seals done for my e46 m3, Barrie turned the head round in great time ready to get in on the car, the work was absolutely perfect and done for a great price.
