I can't say enough good things about Planet Bike! Over the past few years, we've purchased four bikes from them (two Cube and two Giant hardtails), and the experience has always been outstanding. Needed a bike at short notice for my tall 8 year old. This place was competitively priced and the bike seems of a much better quality and came assembled. Customer service was excellent and allowed son to test ride outside. Fully recommend.

I was cycling from Plymouth to Woolacombe when my rear mech cable broke leaving me with only two front gears. Then as a result of pedalling hard up a hill my back went into spasm. Managed to hitch a lift with a local guy who reccomended and delivered me to Planet Bike in Barnstaple.
Exceptional service. The best. I’ve been road cycling a while and I’m happy to say I know a thing or two but Paul was absolutely on top of his game. He had in stock high spec Dura Ace cable and amazingly a 34T front chain ring which I happily bought off him. I was on my way, repaired and rested, within the hour.
A Good Samaritan. And excellently stocked shop. What’s not to like.

This is THE best independent bike shop in Europe. If they don't stock it, you probably don't want it. The service team are top notch and the owner is a Saint. I wouldn't use any other shop after seeing this one and the amazing service, huge choice, low prices and super knowledgeable team.
