Who else remembers the days where a basket (yes, a large basket) of chips was £3.50? What about fresh quiches and burgers for under £12? I do. This ‘bowl of chips’ cost £3.95. I understand the need to keep prices in line with inflation, expenses & staff, but this really takes the mick! See my average sized glasses for scale. ?

A lovely setting for a fun day of exploration for children. This place is a great antidote to screens, theme parks and computer games where my grandchildren had a lovely time exploring the many adorable tree houses, fairy homes and playgrounds not to mention the castle, all made of wood.
We fed the ducks and fish, followed the trail and enjoyed an ice cream in the café at the end.
Well worth a visit and the children lived every minute!

Not sure this should be called a shop as it is truly big and more like a supermarket but stacked with fresh, yummy produces. The staff know their products and helped us when we needed it.
I saw other reviews mentioning the prices, but at least here you get fresh, organic products but nothing more you'd pay at your local supermarket and at least you get proper service from professional and friendly staff.

The farm shop is excellent and staff extremely helpful and friendly. We have never been disappointed by anything: the Fellows Bakery cobber loaves and rolls have ruined all other bread for us, the Field Fare produce is excellent, Real Pie Company pies so tasty and crammed with meat and the selection of cheeses, pies, quiches and snacks at the deli counter never disappoints.
For us, however, the crowning glory is the butchers. There always seems to be something new to try - today it was Chicken Balmoral - chicken breast stuffed with haggis and wrapped with bacon. They were incredible - thank you to the butcher for the recommendation - and really good value at £5 each. You can't beat quality.
One final recommendation - the selection of sausages is mind boggling but our personal favourites are the pork and orange marmalade ones. If you haven't tried them, you really should! The young lad who came up with that idea is definitely a star in the making! Keep up the creative thinking!

Excellent farm shop. Much bigger than first imagined with a meat section, local wine/spirits and ale section, including Harvey's produce. Service is good. Fruit and veg is fresh and it's tucked away in the countryside. What more could you want? A cafe? They've got a nice little one outside too!

We visited the farm over half term break and did the Halloween trail! It was fun and we spent there on the trail a good two hours of non stop fun. After we had a break in the nice outdoor seated area, trucks with food and coffee. We finished our trip with truck ride to the farm for pumpkin picking.

I almost hate to share a review of this business for all the enjoyment it gives me on a yearly basis! (I want to keep it a secret for myself.)

Today I had lunch here. It was divine. I could hardly eat for all the yummy sounds I was making. I had the burger, my daughter had the chicken burger and my wife had the scampi burger. We all loved our food. The fries are skinny and perfectly seasoned and the coleslaw is some of the best I’ve had in the UK. Service was prompt and friendly.

Walking around and looking at the Halloween and Christmas displays is always a treat. It gets us in the mood for the season. The grounds are surrounded by autumn trees and are beautiful right now. Some mornings we have breakfast in the cafe which is delicious as always. It is all locally sourced ingredients and tastes it. There is a fantastic adventure walk for kids that seems hugely popular right now. (Book especially when warmer!)
Then the farm shop! If I had the money I’d get all my food from here. This is the Fortnum and Masons of farm shops. The butchers is like a museum of meats it is so well crafted and laid out. Kind of has to be seen to be believed. The chutneys and jams and frozen meals look amazing. I’ll be doing much of my Xmas shopping there this year. I bought a super cute hedgehog ornament made from a pine cone for the tree this year. Thank you Priory Farm for being in my life❣️
P.s. Shout out to the ladies who kindly refunded my oil drizzler today. The new one works a treat!!
