Neil manufactured a section of garden railing for me, and was great for the following reasons:
1. Budget. Neil provided the most reasonable quote, when I initially approached five 5-star rated metal fabricators on Google. He also proposed sensible design changes to keep within budget e.g. using hollow bar instead of solid bar, or using 8mm instead of 10mm thick steel for the railing's feet, with 2mm spacers.
2. Design. He checked the design carefully, and pointed out a couple of things that needed changing, such as correcting the angle section to use a standard cross-section.
3. Communication. He would call or email if anything was unclear, and made the whole process/timeline transparent, and well as completing the work on time.
4. Delivery. He personally delivered the section of railing himself. He then went beyond the call of duty and helped me install it (which was not in the scope of what we had agreed); lifting it into place, cutting off an overhanging section of foot and making three spot welds to connect it more securely. Just because he wanted to make sure it would fit.

if you're looking for a responsive, efficient, friendly and creative service, you won't go far wrong with Neil from Red Cube. I'd been let down by another firm and Neil, recommended by a friend, came to my rescue. It was an unusual commission, all I had was a photo. he understood completely and quickly what I was after. I got exactly what I had in mind. Including a lovely gate latch, which he made simply from looking at the photo. I now have people crossing the street to compliment me on the railings and gate. Job done. If Neil says yes to you, you'll not go wrong.
