I had some tricky repairs to do to the tops of the inner wings on a Triumph TR250. Dean fabricated some fabulous fillets to replace the damaged areas. He also fitted new sills and a front valance and fitted up all four new wings and the bonnet. Progress was very good and I was informed regularly with photographs. I would definitely use him again. A very steady hand, thoughful and gives great attention to detail. He really helped save this project when we were getting out of our depth with the bodywork issues. Thank you Dean. Dave.

Dean was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Fabricated and welding a front windscreen surround and door for my 73 firebird. Always giving me updates and very quick, brilliant quality. Definitely recommend and will be using again. Oringally some more work needed to be done but Dean had a look and recommended a cheaper alternative. Very honest unlike alot of welders I've dealt with in the past.

Dean has restored my 1968 Triumph TR250 from a rusty wreck to a solid body inside and out and is now ready for paint. Triumphs are not easy cars to renovate and door gaps are critical. Deans attention to detail and getting the look right for the car is a real dedication to his craft. He has, fabricated several panels no longer available and ist impossible to tell the difference. He is totally professional from start to finnish, sends you updated results with pictures and always discusses the action plan as it unfolds along the restoration. Dean did a great job of replacing the rear arches, inner arch tubs and front wings on my VW T4 van. I liked Deans approach to work and appreciated the regular updates and photographs so I could see the work being done on my van as he did it.

Dean made the 40 mile plus trip to see my Triumph GT6 and provided a good assessment of the work required. The quote was really fair and accurate reflecting the extent of the work required. Outer sills, floor repairs, boot floor and valance, rear arch tubs, heelboard, new door skin and chassis repairs. His communication is excellent, confirming dates for taking delivery of the car, providing regular updates, with photographs, on progress, any issues he contacted me to discuss before proceeding and he was always contactable to answer any questions I had. His work is excellent, methodical and precise. As several of my friends have commented the panel gaps he has achieved are probably better than when the car left the factory. Highly recommended.

From the very first contact with Dean at Revive a Classic the service I have received has been absolutely first class. After looking for some time for someone to restore my Frogeye Sprite, I responded to an advert in Classic & Sportscar. I took my car up to Dean for an appraisal of the work needing to be done and he was very thorough in his inspection resulting in a verbal estimate which was quickly followed up with a formal written estimate. He also gave me a date when I could leave the car with him and a date when the work would commence. He honoured both the dates and whilst working on my car gave weekly bulletins and comprehensive photos so I could see the progress made. As with all restorations, further work was discovered but prior to commencement Dean discussed this fully with me, outlining the options available to me. I particularly appreciated the staged payments as the work was done. As for the quality of the work, I can only say it is top class. I can honestly say the panel fit and shut lines are better than when the car left the factory. In my humble opinion, Dean is truly a master of metalwork. He also arranged for the car to be painted by Autorevival who did a great job as well. He then arranged to collect the car from the paint shop and take it back to his workshop where he helped me to replace trim and the windscreen prior to me taking the car home. I'd also like to thank his new employee, Tyron, who got stuck in and helped as well. In summary, giving your car to someone for restoration is a bit of a leap of faith. You hear and read of so many horror stories of cars and money disappearing down black holes that it is understandable to be wary of the whole process. However, I can only say that my faith in Dean was not misplaced, he does a fantastic job and is a real nice bloke as well. Did the final bill exceed the estimate?.... of course it did, but every penny was fully accounted for and discussed prior to the extra work being done. In any case, it was great value for money.I am absolutely delighted with my car and the service I received from Dean from the start of the process through to the end. If you are looking for someone to undertake work on your pride and joy look no further, Revive a Classic is the only place to go.
